Metal Gear Ground Zeroes is a good but brief introduction into the next generation Metal Gear Solid games. The game delivers great visuals with immersive game play and details a bit of the games story that bridges from Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker to Metal Gear Solid 5. This game is a great deal when purchased at the used sales rate.

Metal Gear Solid is back and better than ever. I knew beforehand that this was only like a 'demo', one main mission with some side ops, that can be completed rather quickly to showcase and give us a taste of what's to come in MGS5 Phantom Pain. The graphics are amazing and with the gameplay it's not linear. You can do stealth or go in guns blazin, they live the choice to the player. Glad I waited for the price to drop due to the game being pretty short, but well worth it if your a fan of Solid Snake.

Haven't had much time to play it, but the first day I got it, I played it for a couple hours. First thing that comes to mind are the graphics. This game has great graphics compared to other ps4 titles. Game play was pretty fluid. Not much different than other metal gear games (meaning in a good way). Story seems pretty intriguing; enough where I want to keep playing to finish the story. In conclusion, for a $12 game you can beat it.

Okay so this is a great game except for the factalking it only has one full mission ... it has like 4 side ops and that's about it ... I didn't realize this until I played it and was very disappointed. ... still a hook for the phantom pain!!

Great setup for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, sets up the events that will start MGSV. Main story mission can be completed in about an hour with a handful of side missions taking place in the same area.

Great taste of the gameplay but horrible story. New gadgets are great. Enemies are smart.

This game should have not been released... Thanks konami. Hideo kojima did not want to split his game into two games but konami insisted. MGS is always a good game with a great story. You can really skip out on this game if you want. It's basically an introduction to the next game and you really don't need to buy this one as it only seems like it's a demo.

First thing is the graphics are phenomenal due to the FOX engine, but the whole MG story is just weird. I tried to get into this demo, but found myself just running aimlessly :( Not bad for a cheap thrill though, I like to have a complete game with an end.

The open ended gameplay is incredible, but I personally wouldn't pay more than $10 for it. There's a fair amount of content, but definitely is not worth more than maybe $20 in my opinion.

The first part to a 2 part story of an epic trilogy. The trilogy spans 9 games (if you don't include spin offs like portable ops) over the course of nearly 30 years. Doesn't get any bigger and better introduction than this.

Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes is a small taste of what players will get in The Phantom Pain. There is a main Story mission plus a few side ops. Players with be rewarded with content in The Phantom Pain depending on how much they do in Ground Zeroes

Game is fun but is not satisfying for 1 level. I found myself finishing the game in an hour. Phantom Pain better be good.

This game is a prologue to phantom pain. Would not buy this at full launch price as the game is kinda short. However, got this in a buy 2 get 1 free deal from best buy which is great.

As most other reviews have stated, this is short -- one level with some variations that unlock after completing it. I like the concept and game play, but it has some weak spots. It pushes you toward a stealth solution, but the silencer "wears out" after several shots. Also, game saves at checkpoints, but it would be nice to have more save options. I bought it for $10, but it wouldn't have been worth paying full retail.

It's strange that this is not part of The Phantom Pain. It's basically the opening of the game - or what should be the opening of the game. A short experience with a ton of easter eggs. Don't spend more than $10 on it.

I wish it would have stated that its a prelude to the next Metal Gear V. I was thinking that the I was purchasing the latest Metal Gear. For those who are thinking about the game give this one a try 1st.

Love this game and the direction it took, really fun and beautiful. Played around for 6hrs through the one stage in the game that available to play story wise before deciding to finish it. However there was a lot to go back for and different ways to approach the level. Perfect way to see if you would also like MGSV style compared to previous games before dropping money on Phantom Pain. (No Hayter voice :< but its all good)
