I bought Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero for my Ps3 on Christmas Day 2 years ago after it had been out for a while because it was on sale and I have really liked most of the other games in the series. GZ was good, very in depth, and challenging, but short. I wasn't sure what to expect with The Phantom Pain, but I bought it for Ps3 on the day it was released and I could not put it down. I was often late for work and my wife had to beg me to stop playing. It was so fun, there was so much to do and there was so much that you could do. After beating the game, I found myself going back a replaying missions from time to time. After getting my Ps4 I wanted to buy it again because it is that good, but resisted. When I bought this for X-Box One it was for my nephews and brother to share. But after seeing it and holding it in my hands, I had to have it again. I recently bought it for the Ps4 and am currently playing it again. It looks even more amazing on my Ps4 as I imagine it will on their X-Box One. I look forward to sharing the experiences with my brother and nephews after Christmas and long after that. Buy this game.

Very tough open world style game. If you like the originals this is a great addition.

This is an amazing game and I agree with many publications that this should be considered for game of the year last year. The story is immersive and the gameplay is fantastic. This is a must own for any video game enthusiast.

I think the definitive edition is the best choice for this game. The graphics are amazing and the story engulfs you. Snake is back at it again and the gamer won't be disappointed.

Metal Gear Solid V is admittedly the last entry in this franchise. Hideo Kojima no longer has a role on the project, but he was heavily involved in the production of this particular game. Metal Gear Solid V is a solid entry in the series, with heavy focus on stealth and or action combat. David Hayter no longer performs any vocal talents, but that's not holding back on the quality of this title. There are moments where the gameplay feels repetitive, but if Metal Gear Solid V is truly the last game in this series. at least the series went out with a bang.

First things first, I have not stayed up to date with the franchise. That being said, this game is full of confusing plot moments. Probably explained in prior games. It is definitely a Hideo Kojima game.

This game was game of the year when it was released, excellent and it included the prequel, both at a great price. Highly recommended.

This was hands down the greatest metal gear solid experience gameplay wise. The missions were fun and didnt last too long and the multiplayer was a blast as well. The narrative was not as strong as previous entries but some people may actually be okay with that. Hands down must own for any fan of shooter or stealth action games.

This is the best Metal gear Solid I have played to date. Challenging, fun, and priced just right!

The games looks beautiful, but like all Metal Gear Solid games, it's more of a interactive movie. That being said every single aspect of the game is very well executed. One word of warning though: if FPS's give you motion sickness, this will occasionally give you some vertigo.
