I've really enjoyed the story, game play and graphics in this game. Its a must have for any metal gear fan.

Another great game from kojima.. great controls beautiful graphics and another strange but great MGS story.

Great game, not the classic metal gear experience, but the controls are fantastic and the game is gorgeous

This is the end of Kojima led metal gear solid games and what a way to go out. Lacks the story of the previous metal gear games but it's makes up for it in the Gameplay. This is the best playing 3rd person action game I've ever played and while the missions can get repetitive the constant upgrading of weapons and gear and acquiring new ones keep it feeling fresh and fun for 50+ hours. Will probably end up being my personal GOTY, fallout 4 pending

Graphics - best yet Controls - perfect feel Story line - engaging Game play - tactical take-downs ftw!

Graphics and Gameplay are top notch. There is some micromanagement when it comes to your homebase and capturing soldiers. It was a highly reviewed game by many different reviewers. If you are a stealth or metal gear fan you need to check it out. This game takes place after Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. And I would recommend to familiarize or refamiliarize yourself with the storyline before you play the game (search for youtube videos).

Whether youve played the previous Metal Gear Solids or not, this is worth your time. It is actually the best in the series in my opinion. It offers free roam gameplay which is exclusive to the series, and therefore adds tons of fun and replay value. My favorite thing about it is how you can go guns blazing or in and out without making a single kill.

A sprawling, third-person action-adventure game with so many different ways to play. I can't begin to stress how fun this game is, and all the ways you can complete missions (through stealth, run and gun, etc). There is a base-building aspect to it as well. There is just so much fun to have in this world, you owe it to yourself to pick it up!

The game plays differently from past Metal Gear titles. There is a lot more freedom to run around and do whatever you want compared to the previous main numbered entries. For those used to a more cohesive structure, the game will feel a bit odd because it is more a series of episodic missions rather than one continuous narrative. The gameplay is still fun however, and the game allows replays of completed missions and side quests in case you missed any special objectives the first time through. There is now also the option to expand your home base and build up a private army; just be prepared to do a lot of repetitive grinding for resources and man power.

great game play and awesome story line. Have always loved this franchise and am not disapointed

I've never played a Metal Gear game before and this being my first was probably the best choice i've ever made. This game has everything you could ever ask for. Down to the last detail and beyond. This game has done many things that havent been done before in gaming history. I won't describe too much because i dont want to spoil it but ive put in over 200 hours and still have not finished the game. I recommend it 100%

In depth story line with refreshing game play maintaining the Metal gear style at same time

His last work on Metal Gear Solid series tells us - no more importantly shows us in great detail like it was movie. The visuals are superb. On a 4K screen that I just purchased made his game be a movie. If you want to play the game and make it even insanely difficult, try to capture and relocate the solider/enemy to add to your base. Oh if you are going to buy the game, get ready! Because you are in for a treat.

Whenever it deals about metal gear solid it cant go wrong, graphics and story fantastic!

This game blew me away! I was completely so mind boggled by how fun this game is to play. The upgrade system was fun and kept me wanting to play to earn more credits for better equipment. I hated how the story ended though it seemed incomplete. Overall I give this game a 5/5 it's fun, the missions kept me entertained and wanting more, and it's the conclusion to possibly one of the greatest story's ever!

I love stealth games. I have ever since Tenchu. I don't know if I have enjoyed one as much, since. This game is phenomenal! Buuuuttt... A stealh game has to be tight. You have to be able to have complete control of your character. Many times when I was caught, I felt that I had done nothing wrong. Very frustating. Trial and error is fine if it is my fault. That is literally the only fault I can find. 9.8?

I don't usually review games but i must do justice to this game. This is my all time favorite game and I would know I'm a gamer Fallout 4 is also a 10/10. The story isn't that great but who cares it's all about game play and freedom you can call in a helicopter gun ship for support and air bombardments you must play this game for a while to unlock the better weapons which is awesome one word amazing

I am currently playing through MGS 5 and I must say it is amazing! The gameplay is stellar and the graphics are incomparable. Its more open so you have things to upgrade and purchase. Managing Mother Base is one of the more welcoming things. It really shows how far the MGS series has come. Hopefully there are more in the future, maybe remake the original metal gear games that haven't gotten much love.
