Music rocked. Plot was weak but I'll forgive them!

Well I bought this movie on sale and with a certificate and a coupon. So great deal on the movie. The concert footage was really good and to me had that been the whole movie would have been fine, Though the story mixed in with the concert footage was good too. There is a 3D option for this movie. Though I didnt buy as I have no 3D blue ray player or a 3D TV. I feel in some parts of the movie it would have made some scenes stand out more. But without 3D still a good movie and definately not the usual concert movie. if your a Metallica Fan you will like this especialy since you get to hear and see some classics, you dont always hear or see in their concerts. also the customer service at best buy was good.

The digital copy wasn't a real digital copy. This was the biggest disappointment. I wanted to add this to my digital collection. ALL METALLICA FANS MUST HAVE THIS MOVIE IT'S SUCH A AWESOME MOVIE THAT WILL WATCH OVER AND OVER AGAIN A ONE OF A KIND MOVIE JUST AS METALLICA IS!!!

This is a cool concert movie because it's not just a live show. It also has a story around it of a kid trying to get around in a Mad Max type city. The 3D is amazing in this too and really adds to it. If you like Metallica it's a must have. Or of you love 3D.

This is the concert video people have been waiting for from Metallica. I already own several other DVDs and this is right at the top. With a mix of new songs and tried and true favorites, they span their entire career. It is always interesting to see how songs change when played live over the years. Since it is hard to see Metallica on tour as often as I would like, this is the next best thing.

Adding a story to a live concert sounds weird but it works. These guys always sound great. I wish I was there for this recording. I would also recommend buying the album to this concert. A great mix of songs throughout their career.

Whats not to love!! Great band, great concert, overall the story went well, but the ending was very abrupt. That being said, I have watched this at least 10 times since i purchased it. If i had to do it again i would def. buy it... actually i did....for some reason i couldnt load/transfer the digital version to my phone (samsung galaxy s3) so i bought it through an app store...
