We've had many toyotas and this makes replacing the stock stereo very easy. The colors you connect to your new stereo always match since it converts the always odd stock wire colors to standard colors.

Metra’s wiring harnesses are easy to work with. It’s usually color to color on the install with an extra wire or two for accessories. Saves time and aggravation.

Keeping the OEM wiring intact is a much better option than cutting and splicing. If I need to remove the aftermarket stereo, reinstalling the facility stereo will be cake.

Honestly there is not much I can say about the wiring harness. I had my radio installed by a Best Buy technician. You'd have to ask him how user friendly it was. Otherwise, it is working as intended.

Harness made is simple to wire up the radio. It is not necessary, but it takes the mystery out of the wiring.

So, I don't really know what to say. This thing really seems to work, but I can't see it, it is hidden behind the radio. Sounds great though. The guy that installed it seemed happy.
