Works fine didn’t have a issue with this and works the way it’s supposed to

Worked like a charm. Easy to do. I connected my ol 2004 4runner to the brand spankin new Pioneer 5200 NEX (Check it out!) No issues, easy to do, everything works, sounds great.

Plugged into vehicle harness with no problems Perfect fit. The instructions are inadequate. At first glance we didn't know the OEM radio has an external amplifier.

Pretty straightforward, allows you to use factory wiring without splicing into wires. Directions aren't great, but if you are reasonably smart, you can DIY. Otherwise best buy will install using this same kit.

This is the correct harness if you don’t have the stock amp, but if you do have the stock amp you should remove it because it will make the installation much easier and it will sound just as good

You have to have it to do a new deck install. It appears to be decent quality and easy to install. Price was same at different stores

I can't see how or why anyone would want to try an install of an aftermarket radio without this specialized adapter that integrates all the connections for your specific vehicle. You can use crimp on connectors or in my case I chose to solder each wire to the corresponding wire from the aftermarket radio and used shrink tubing to insolate each wire. If you ever decide to get rid of the vehicle and keep the radio you will be glad you went this route. Just reinstall the original radio with just a couple of easy connections, and you didn't damage the original cars wire harness. I have done this a few times in a few other vehicles and will always go this route to save time and ease of installation.

This harness was the perfect fit for my installation of a new head unit in my 2003 Toyota Tacoma. Everything plugged in and functions perfectly.

I dreaded the idea of having to wire my new stereo to an after-market harness, was worried it would be a big job. This little harness came with clear and easy instructions on the back of the bag, and the connection/installation couldn't have been more simple. Thanks to this harness the whole project was easier than I thought!

Always get the harness, before your appointment. These are great and usually available for your stereo installations. Just order before arriving to verify availability. Makes ease of installation, even for the do-it-yourselfer!
