Nice to have back up lines and i like the combo mirror/monitor feels natural. At night camera image is grainy, but its not like youre watching your favorite show on Netflix. Its just another vantage point that one should not completely focus on.

Roman, the installer at the BestBuy in Honolulu recommended this one. It's not plastic but metal and looks like it's from the factory. Roman installed it as if it was from the factory. No one will know it's an add-on. It's so good I would want to use it while driving down the highway to see the blind spots but it seems to work only in reverse. I highly recommend this mirror set up and installation by Roman at the Honolulu best buy.

Works great on my van. I was having difficulty backing up in tight spots and this camera works great.

For the most part a good experience. The best buy didn't have a tool so had to wait a couple of more weeks for them to instal it. Once they had the tools it was a quick instal. A week after the instal my wife backed into a pole. Please don't only depend on the mirror, turn your head.

I have had this on my 2006 VW Jetta for two months and the Bluetooth and backup camera make this a complete car. It is a Jetta GLI which I like a lot and just needed this upgrade to make it a car to keep for the long term. The Geek Squad worked hard to get the install right, but once they did, it has worked great. The rearview mirror in backup mode gives you a track to follow and you could back up with out ever looking at any other mirror or out the windows. The Blue tooth works the best of any aftermarket I have had experience with.

Ordered and installed by BestBuy tech (on a Honda CIVIC). There are some serious issues with this product: 1. When it's really bright (e.g. a sunny day), I can't see the camera image, except reflections 2. When there are no street lights, image is unreadable 3. During night driving, you can't really see well from the mirror --- it seems to pickup the window heater lines #or something) that causes significant image distortion I live in Tucson, most days are sunny/bright. And they don't allow street lights in our area, so this product is of very limited use for me. The camera works well during the evening hours, when the sun fades, and it also works well in well-lit parking lots.
