just what i needed

Standard wiring harness

2002 Subaru wiring harness

Three of the wires were several inches longer than the other wires. Not sure why since, they needed to be cut shorter in order to have a harness without loops in it.

Do you really need this

However it does make installation quicker and easier. My advice is purchase this when you buy your stereo and if you feel comfortable that you can wire it without it just return it.
