The Metra - Wiring Harness for Select 1998-2008 GM Vehicles - Gray worked perfectly, no guessing of wires, just wire it up, and plug it in and play it.

Bought this for my husband even after being told it would affect his security in his truck; however, it did not. The rep attempted to get me to buy the almost $200.00 one, but for anyone experienced in car audio, you know that this works just the same except for losing some door chimes (that are annoying anyway).

So I got this to install the car stereo for my car, but it didn't include the connectors, had to go to Kragan auto parts for those. otherwise it was a great product.

So obviously this piece was stolen out of my wife's truck along with her older stereo it is what you need to get this thing to work so don't be cheap or upset when you have to buy it works well no complaints here

Wiring was simple and quick. Everything fit just as the package stated

I have an 03 Chevy truck and I also bought the Metra - Installation Kit for Select GM Vehicles, these to things work awesome together, easy install for me, be patient and it will work out

I've used this on my g6 with an aftermarket head unit, easy setup with color matching wires. Easy and quick hook up but you do lose functionality of some buttons depending on your vehicle and its features, for mine it did.

Simple product but wasn’t compatible with my vehicle. Car tech wasn’t around an they sold me the wrong harness.

If your GM vehicle came with a Bose head unit, you probably need this connector. I also had to get another wiring harness from another website to deal with signal level because the Bose system uses an amp and it sounded horrible coming from the head unit. Also, you lose your “warning” chime that normally comes through your Bose system.

Why cut wires when you can get this harness and do the easy, clean and professional connections.

This kit fit perfectly with my new JVC radio, which was installed in a Pontiac Vibe.

For swapping out the base stereo on a 2007 Hummer H3 this harness worked exactly as advertised. All the basic connections are there and everything, except warning chimes, work as they should. You'll lose the warning chimes since they are played through the driver front speaker when the stock radio is installed and you also have to find a separate accessory power source for the new radio but with a little "googling" it isn't to tough. This harness made the swap very easy and after finding a tip to use the accessory power for the rear wiper, which is located on the bezel below the factory radio, I still have the RAP (Retained Accessory Power). FYI, its the yellow wire on the harness that plugs into the back of the rear wiper control. I don't miss the warning chimes for the key in, seat belt and lights on but if you want to keep those then this harness won't work for you and you'll have to purchase a different radio harness that keeps those functions but costs quite a bit more.

worked well the only problem was the truck i needed to run an accessory wire from the fuse block
