Game has some great moments, and I do recommend a play, but it feels incomplete. Starts strong, introduces something different than previous Metro games, but the ending just sort of happens. There is no central villain, or underlying mission in the game in any sense, so when you reach the "end" it just sort of stops. It is semi-open world where each area is large and feels open, but once you move on to next area, you can't go back. Really missing something.

Usually don't like playing late into a game series, but Metro Exodus is the first I've played out of the Metro games and it's pretty fun. They also made this more open world which is my go to

It's a really good game. Very tough at points and I wish there was a tutorial at the beginning of the game to understand basic options like firing the gun.

Great game love it the first time I played it and been playing ever since I bought it. The beginning was weird I thought I was fighting monsters but it wasn’t very good game

If you've played the other games consider this an extension. Interface a bit odd at times but the game is still interesting and enjoyable. Russian "Fallout"...what's not to like?

If you’ve played either of the previous Metro games, this one is just like that. Except, after a few levels it goes open world on you. Great game.

Ive been waiting for this game ever since I saw it at E3. Definitely a game to enjoy on the PS4 pro with a 4K tv. The graphics are great as well as the gameplay. Worth the purchase

If you enjoy amazing games this is one of them you well have a blast playing it. all i have to say is buy it you wont be disappointed.

This game is pretty good but does start out somewhat slow. If you’ve played the other entries you’ll know what to expect and won’t be disappointed.

Everything about this game is fantastic. True survival horror. Some bugs, and that’s what holds it back it from being as perfect as it could be.

By far a phenomenal game. Haven't played yet but this game's graphics and storyline looks BOMB!!! I've heard and saw nothing but greatness from this game it don't regret it

I love the metro series and this one tries a lot of new things, while keeping some of the old in. I wouldn’t recommend playing this if you haven’t played the first two.

Kinda challenging as you must be aware of surroundings at all times. I think it’s a great game that represents an apocalypse in the Russia area. Great game.

Reminds me a lot of the last installment. I have found some areas to fall off the map but overall the game is well made and fun to play.

The ability to leave the metro and go explore the outside world is a nice touch. All of the things you love about the series are intact. Good story as well.

The only mechanical difference between the last game and this is that instead of inspecting/modding your gun on-the-fly has been replaced with a backpack serving as a portable workbench. Everything else that has been added is a product of the narrative that doesn't stem from the book series as much as it does the games. That being said the game is a welcome and fitting addition to the metro series. Even on hudless Ranger Hardcore the game is very fair and punishes you only for honest mistakes and careless gunplay. It'll immerse you the moment you step out of the train.
