Okay, I'll start by saying Best Buy price matched another store so I got this game for an amazing price. I'd rather buy all my games at Best Buy, since I'm a member of their gamers club. I owned and played both of these games on the Xbox 360 and I loved them then. Now they've been touched up a bit for the Xbox One. These are two solid games to add to your collection. Buy this game before it's out of print.

Metro has been a surprising blast for me to play. The story and nature of the game had me immediately glued to the game - I played for 4 hours straight on my first try. The pacing, dialogue, and setting are that good. It also has a bit of a horror element to it, but not an uncomfortable amount - I was sweating from the tension and eerie moments, but was never truly scared (I bought this game for the story and shooter gameplay). Ultimately, I was expecting the game to be good, but it exceeded these expectations. With two high-quality games at $50, there is no better value in a shooter game on the next-gen consoles (yet).

This game left me hooked from the jump! From great graphics to a sick new world to explore in futuristic Russia and its underground underworld I guess you could call it. Nonstop shoot em up action and challenging games that will enthrall and entertain you for hours on end!

If you enjoyed the originals you will enjoy this one because it's the exact same title. The graphical improvements are good, but if you've played through them on previous gen systems you won't find anything really new in terms of gameplay or story. If you've never played them then this is absolutely the way to go, and you get two for the price of one which is an absolute bargain on these games.

Picked up the game for cheap and was pleasantly surprised. Solid shooter with a different setting. Story was a little hard to follow and the first bit of the game was difficult to get into as there wasn't much to relate to or engage with. Eventually the weapons even out with the enemies and it felt more balanced. Once you're there, the world sort of draws you in.

If you don't own both of these games then this is worth it. Even owning Metro 2033 on the Xbox 360 I picked this up. I didn't own First Light and I wanted the upgraded versions. I did get a great deal on this, between the Black Friday price and Gamer Club discount. Even if I paid a little more it's still a great deal.

The best definitive versions of the Metro games...

The Metro series is a great franchise. Both, Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, are highly acclaimed games, and while both have appeared on the Xbox 360, only a powerful PC can do them justice. Console gamers, especially PS4 owners, have never played Metro the way the developers intended due to technical limitations. Thankfully, after remastering both games from the ground up. So now you get awesome versions of both Metro games with all the DLC included, running at a locked 60FPS, for only $50. It's one of the couple of remasters that are actually justified.

Metro Last Light and Metro 2033 came out for the Xbox 360 and I never got around to playing either title. After reading reviews, and asking my friends who own it for PC, they highly recommended it. I only put about 2 hours into it so far, but it looks gorgeous. It isn't as amazing as Assassin's Creed Black Flag, but the character models and cinematics are gorgeous to behold. The environment feels different from Fall-Out, another post-nuclear wasteland shooter, and the gritty world below makes for a more linear story, but much more harrowing encounters in the sewers. Play it in the dark, and jack up the sound. It's no Dead Space, but death in Metro is never pretty.

The games have a great story, but the controls are not responsive enough to adequately track the enemies even at the highest sensitivity. It seems like the game was built more for a gaming mouse and keyboard due to its low motion and aiming sensitivity. Even though the game has this flaw, it does not detract from the story or the game play too much where you still cannot enjoy the game. Overall, it's a great buy for those who have never played metro before, and wish to experience the better graphics on the new consoles. It was a great game to hold me over while I wait for the new fallout to come out in 2015.

This game is way under priced. I got it for $20 and would be OK with the usual $60. Two great games for a great value. This game has high replay value. Love being able to approach each level either completely unannounced and silent or guns blazing and taking name!

Not a fan of this game. The graphics are great but there are lots breaks in gameplay for loading. I just had a hard time getting into this game. Played for an hour or so and haven't put it back in.

If you haven't played the Metro series on 360 and can pick this up for a good price, do it! It's a great shooter and the redux version includes much improved graphics, especially for Metro 2033.

I love the remastered edition of the original classic and being able to play the sequel. The first one wasn't too popular so it may have been missed on the xbox360 but catch up now on the xbox one.
