Reminds me of the original. Great game to play on 3ds

Samus is back and she's not messing around. This game is everything you could want in a side scrolling Metroid game. The gameplay is top notch, it looks great, the audio is awesome, and even the 3D looks amazing.

The original is still playable, but you'd have to be crazy to pick that one over this remake. The changes improve the game so much.

This game is every bit as amazing as when Super Metroid came out for the SNES. Amazing graphics and a beautiful use of 3d make this a must play. Absolutely love it

Samus Returns is a return to form for the Metroid series. It incorporates everything great about the classic side scrolling Metroid games for the GBA and adds in new upgrades to keep the experience fresh. The game is a bit on the easier side on the default difficulty and is only about 12 hours long, but well worth a purchase.

it's been so long since a good metroid game came out and this one somewhat delivers but it is still a good game for me!!

Been a metroid fan since I was a kid and it still amazes me how fun they are still to play. Samus Returns is definitely one of the best remakes Nintendo has done, worth a buy.

This will bring back memories, although I would have preferred retro 8-bit graphics, but regardless still very fun.

I bought this game for my 10 yr old son for Christmas and so far he loves it. In fact all 3 of my boys have been enjoying it. I haven’t personally played it, but I’d say ages 10 to 16 are a great age group enjoying the challenge of this reminiscent game. So two thumbs way up!

Nintendo did a good job on putting a "new coat of paint" on the original gameboy game. Very fun and lots to do!

This was purchased as a gift for my son at Christmas. He has spent hours playing it. Definitely a fun game!

Took me about 18 hours to 100% complete as I am new to the metroid series. Really good game that takes advantage of the 3D tech so if you have a NEW 3DS its really a lot of fun to use. Be prepared for a lot of backtracking and frustration, but that is kinda how Metroid games work. I wish they gave you more than 10 pins per area as I ran into a lot of road blocks early on. Controls are good and you feel really powerful by the end of the game. Probably wont play it again, but its great to have in the collection and i definitely feel like I got my moneys worth.

good game but very linear not lots of new action elements thrown in but the classic exploration is lacking
