Great 2D sidescroller. Fun and challenging. Best Metroid since the GBA games. Not more of that FPV stuff!

Wish this came out for my switch, but that's alright. It's fun to get the old school style sidescroller.

The original Metroid II has some good concepts and played for the most part ok. It had severe issues and on a system thats outdated. This remake fixes most of those issues so it plays more like a traditional metroid, that being said, this game is super hard so be ready

This is classic metroid through and through. If you like old school metroid you will highly enjoy.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. Metroid: Samus Returns is a return to form for 2D Metroid games and a welcome one as far as this girl is concerned. It’s vibrant, challenging, and it doesn’t waste time on silly plot threads or minutia. It’s got the adventure without making it too difficult (not that you have to take the “shortcuts”). While I will say that it’s not absolutely perfect, namely in how the enemies and environments pretty much stay the same throughout, it’s a lot of fun and well worth the time and money I spent on it. :D P.S.: I like the melee attack.

I purchased this for my brother-in-law and he enjoyed the nostalgia trip. Good work Nintendo!

The game is good but falls well short of great. It is much more action than exploration.

This game brings old school Samus back in action! Love the exploration of this HUGE map and the new combat mechanics. You will not be disappointed!

This is an awesome reimagining of the classic GameBoy Metroid ll. Excellent Game.

It is a great game but do not buy it if you are expecting a lot of boss battles. There are a few but the main focus is to defeat 40 metroids. Parrying is a new cool feature and you will use it a lot. Overall it's a pretty good game.

This is a great version of Metroid. It is based off of the old Game Boy version and it has much better graphics and updated controls.

Brings me back to my roots, enjoy the 2d metroid style play from the old days.

I have been playing the game and I have to say, it plays well. I like the little details added and the counterattack mechanic isn't as necessary as I thought it would be. Plus, if you own a 3DS, the 3D effect looks nice too.

Oldie but goodie remade classic portable 3d fun fun fun for the whole family

If your an old school gamer this is one of the classic games from the past.

Son loves it. Hours of fun to be had. If you can get on sale even better.

This is a solid entry into the Metroid series. I enjoyed by time with it.

Samus finally returns in this remake of Metroid 2. It's pretty solid. Nice graphics, nice controls, good level design.
