I love this game. It has a classic Metroid feel. The only negative thing I can say about it is it is too big of a game. I never finished it during the week long road trip I had.

If you like metroid mobile games youll like this. All the fun and aggravation that comes with the standard game but you will always go back for more. Definitely a must have for the DS collection.

This is a great soon to be a classic. Very fun, great animation for a gameboy and the story is excellent and addicting. A great add on if your a fan of the previous stories.

Saw some so so reviews online. Got a DS for my son and now I seem to be playing it more than him. We're both hooked I this game, especially since he recently found super metroid on our snes classic.

A faithful remake. Not a fan of the parrys that they added. And a few of the features are weird, like the power that reveals your map.

Played the gameboy version when I was younger and this is a big improvement over the old black and white version. I like this version for sure over the old one. Definitely pick it up!

Finally Nintendo did what fans wanted by making a "new" 2D Metroid It maybe a reimagining of Metroid 2 but between the graphics gameplay and general playability it feels new and its awesome

I played the original for the first game boy way back when the colors were black and green! This reboot shows an awesome improvement while still giving me nostalgia goosebumps! This game is awesome!

I barely remembered playing the original version of this game. But that did not matter. This feels like a brand new game... and more importantly it keeps that old school style. Unlike the newer Metriod games, this has that classic Metriod feel. If you are a fan of the original Metriod games, you will be sure to enjoy this one.

I tried a few Metroid games going back to the NES and this was the first one I kept playing. The game play and pacing is great. The 3D effect is outstanding and the sound is great as well.

I back to basics Metroid game. Looks great and gameplay is smooth. The only bad part is your hands will hurt after lomg plays because of the button layout of the 3DS/game. Do not skip this game.

Samus Returns is a really solid remake of metroid 2 that fixes many of the originals problems. While it isn't as entertaining as something like Zero Mission (Remake of metroid 1), it has its own strengths such as improved combat. I really hope the developer makes more 2d metroid games in the future as this was a good first effort.

This is like an evolution of Super metroid from SNES days. I loved this game. I would recommend a 3rd party controller grip for the DS though, as it's control scheme killed my hands.
