Metro by T-Mobile great service but cheaper alternatives now

Great way to earn some Best Buy points and save on those MetroPCS fees when you pay at the store.

In contrast to metrics advertise claims that $40 PERIOD! This product charges sales tax. Instruction mentions about confirmation # will be provided after loading, which is must if you need to call customer service. no such number is provided after loading and you can not reach customer service if u want to verify funds

Bought one of these cards two days ago, along with a new phone at Best Buy. Paid for my NEW phone line with the card over the phone that same day. Today, I received a text that there is a "chargeback" on my account and $40.00 is due immediately. I no longer have the payment card. I threw it away thinking that my account was paid up and there was no problem. I now lost $40.00 and am forced to pay with another method of payment, or let my account close. LESSON LEARNED! Keep these cards after you use them, at least for the billing cycle.

I purchased 10 of these cards because they were on sale. NONE OF THEM ARE ACTIVATED. Best Buy sent me 10 replacement cards, but the replacement cards are NOT ACTIVATED either. Best Buy store cannot perform a refund because they don't sell these cards at the store. 800-Best-Buy basically told me that there is nothing I can do and that I need to discuss this with MetroPCS!!!

My Metro phone is good, the only draw back is that I can't call my family in another state (Hawaii) but I can only texted them. Doesn't make any sense!

Purchased these many times online in the past and they are great. Now, however, they are charging tax on them. Never paid tax on phone cards anywhere before. Won't be buying them here again.
