The Mevo camera is great at doing exactly what it says it will do. It will live stream in full HD with a great app that allows you to set up multiple shots and easy to use transitions.
For my part, we were looking for something more easily permanently placed. In other words, the Mevo is meant to be mobile.
I would recommend the Boost to help the battery life, but even then, my project needed a more permanent solution.
Still, I think it's a great camera, really easy to use. Would recommend for anyone live streaming many events in different places.

Easy to set up and begin using. We input the sound from a digital sound board using XLR and an XLR to TRRS adapter into iPad because the native mic on the camera is not good. Scene setup and selection was easy. Graphics were not easy and were limited, no lower third graphics or videos. Mevo requires a subscription to Vimeo to unlock features. We used the least expensive option and though we can stream to many locations, we are limited unless we pay nearly $900 to Vimeo which is more expensive than other competitors. Camera image is good but camera must be close to the subject. There is virtually no optical zoom which limits its position and causes graininess.

All in all, I think it's a good camera. It has 4 stars because its difficult to get outside audio in. In fact, I'm still working on it. Still, besides that, the little thing just works. It has a good battery life and will run well for quite a bit. Video quality is good. Audio is so so - hopefully, with my mics it will be better. Be ready for a bit of a learning curve, but if you're at all technical, you should have it going in less than an hour.

This camera, stand and holder is exactly what I thought it would be. What makes this even better, is that it was on sale at the time so I saved over $100. The camera is good quality and very easy to use. I use this for our church Restoration House and it has saved me from having an entire staff just to work a camera. Buy this!

This is our second Mevo. We’re a non-profit community radio station and we use these to broadcast high school sports on FB Live. Very high quality, easy to use even for non-techies.

This camera is awesome as far as ease of use and features but does not work well unless you are within 10 feet of the subject. We use it for streaming at a church. The entire thing can be run off a phone or a laptop. The Livestream Studio gives you a few more options when you run it on the computer, but the phone app will be more than enough for most users.

I loved this camera so much that I actually went out and bought another. The algorithm for auto-pilot works really well for live band performances. Do not depend on the microphone from the camera for your audio source. At the very least use your phones microphone for your source.

There’s nothing else out there quite like the Mevo Plus. A whole studio in the form factor about the size of half a coke can. The way it mimics multi-angle set up by allowing you to crop to different angles on the fly. The face tracking works reasonably well. Really the only down side is the audio. Onboard audio is marginal at best. However, it’s very easy to connect external audio, either through your control device (iPhone or Android) or via usb is you buy the Boost Accessroy, which I highly recommend if just for the extended battery life. Battery is another area some complain about. without the boost you are only looking at about an hour. with the boost you are good all day. Seems pricey at first, but there is nothing else that does what this does, which makes it hard to compare.

Great product overall and has amazing digital Online features and capabilities. One thing missing is that it does not act as a stand alone camera to direct connect to any computer for recording.

The unit I received had a helo issue present on the edge of the lens. The app needs some tweaks. The Auto functions and tracking worked well. Works great at close range of subjects. Still has some connection drop issues.

Great camera for recording live events. Good microphones, decent video and controls. I do wish it had the functionality to connect to a pc or Mac, instead of just mobile devices.

I use the Mevo Plus to record sermons at my church. I like the fact that it doesn’t have to be live streamed (which I haven’t tried yet).
We record, and edit to include scriptures and lower third texts using a video editing software.
Both video and audio quality are good when you follow their instructions.

This camera as a clear picture, a pretty simple interface for phone or tablet, and the ability to input external sound through your 3.5 mm phone jack on the phone or tablet. The internal microphone works well, too so if the room has good acoustics, in many settings you can just set it up on a stand and stream. A good product and worth the price.

Love the new Mevo plus.. it does what the advertising say.. can’t complain.. of course is a setup for local recording.. but you’ll have issues if want to buy it and record live on remote areas.. because of the battery charge and internet issues as well.. but for a set up say at church it will do its job as advertised...

I love this camera! During this pandemic, it's giving our church the ability to livestream to Facebook with ease. The picture is wonderful and goes up to 4K. It beats the phone hands down. No regrets

Great camera for recording social media videos. I bought this for my wife who recently passed away but I can truly say she loved this camera as she used it every Sunday to shoot her Facebook craft videos..Thank you BestBuy..
