Great for Christmas

I usually get them this and a game gift card. These are wonderful as the receiver of it can purchase games or purchase things for their avatar on the Xbox. Ready access to add-ons are always helpful as well when your account funds are accessible. I rarely use a CC tied to my account so purchasing pre-paid cards is the way to go for me.

The best Gift Card pack for Xbox

The only negative is that these cards don't get scanned by Kinect - if you are one of the few that still use Kinect, you'll have to type in the code.
