The arc mouse is not a new concept for Microsoft. I still have the original floating around somewhere. The new design is great, and I love the portability of it. However, the touch scrolling is a quirky implementation. If you've very used the magic mouse from Apple, you know what can be achieved. Microsoft missed the mark on this one.

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. I think it is a great combination laptop / tablet. Light weight, compact and a great productivity tool. However, due to its size, it lacks USB ports. It has only 1. Since I don't want to use it up for a mouse, I needed one that worked via Bluetooth. I did not do too much research. I found the Arc and it is compact and works on every surface (i.e. desk, sofa, carpet) that I have worked on. No complaints so far.

Picked up the Arc Touch to use with my Surface Pro 3. The reviews are great and the fold flat feature is fantastic for people who travel regularly. Purchased mouse, installed batteries, paired mouse, done. Fold the mouse to power on, collapse flat to power off. I have been using the Arc Touch for approximately 4 months now and it has worked flawlessly. Still using the batteries that came with it (avg 30 min/day usage). Would and have recommended to friends.

I bought this mouse because it did not take up one of my usb ports (it's bluetooth). I also like the fact that it folds flat to save space. I have a surface pro 3 and a slim case for it. When folded flat, the mouse fits very nicely in the outside pocket of the slim case. Folding it flat also turns the mouse off so as not to waste batteries.

This mouse looks and feels great. It’s more expensive than I’d like, but decided to buy it anyway because of its unique style. It connects via bluetooth so it doesnt occupy a usb port for a receiver like other mice. Establishing connection was super easy and is very reliable. Another nice feature is it being able to fold for a compact storage and doing so turns it off to preserve battery life

I own the surface pro 3 and the track pad works great but sometime just need a mouse I was torn on whether to spend the money for this mouse or just get a good old fashion corded usb one but erred reading the reviews and checking it out at the local store I went for it ! I am so happy I did works great and fits so seamlessly in my tablet bag no extra bulk and it syncs easy and fast with my surface I love it and would recommend

This mouse is great. It can be used on practically any surface (counter, couch, bed, floor, carpet) and works great with my brand new Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Before I bought this mouse it was a huge pain using my Surface Pro 3, so I can't imagine life without it now. Only negative would be the scrolling buttons that don't always work 100% the way you expect - they seem to randomly get stuck in one direction sometimes.

The jury is still out on this device that I currently use with my Surface Pro 3. I love the Bluetooth capability so that I don't have to use a USB dongle, but I just can't quite get used to not having a scroll wheel, instead having two plates/sensors for that functionality that just doesn't feel quite right. However, I've had no issues or concerns otherwise!

Was a little cautious buying this. Was afraid I would not like the open space under the arc. It is a great mouse. Works well with my Surface. Really like it being flat when off. Makes for easy packing in my backpack. Does have minor trouble sometimes, the clicker "wheel" or strip will occasionally not respond, almost like it is stuck. Sometimes it will come out of it on its own, but other times I have to turn off and on to get it to begin working again. Does not happen often, but it is annoying. All in all I would recommend and would buy it again. Like the size and shape. Mouse works well on any surface. Perfect match to any Surface.

I bought this to have a very light, portable mouse to use with my Thinkpad Yoga laptop. Since the Yoga has only 2 USB ports, I didn't want to tie one up with the mouse dongle. This one has exceeded my expectations. Flatten and it turns off and stores easily. Bend into shape and I am good to go again! Touch sensitive scrolling is also a nice feature, but it seems to work sporadically.

I bought this for my son and he loves it. He uses it with his Lumia 950 and combined with the Microsoft Universal Wireless Foldable Keyboard for Mobile Devices I also got him, he has a pretty functional computer setup. Battery life has been great and the way it automatically turns on when curled and off when flattened out is very cool. I'm planning to get one for myself too.

Very sleek and cool device, but a little spendy. I got it to compliment my new Surface 2; but in all honesty I don't use the mouse very often with the convenience of the touch screen and the touch pad on the keyboard. When you use the touch scroll feature it makes a very annoying clicking sound ... not sure who thought that was a good idea. And at first look, there is no way to turn it off. This would have been enough for me to take it back, but I called the MS store support and they informed me that there is a free windows store app to download that allows this setting to be turned off on my Surface 2 ... problem solved!

I really like my Microsoft arch mouse. It works well with my Microsoft Surface Pro. I like the way it folds flat for travel. It fits well in my hand for comfortable use. The scroll button works differently and took a couple tries to get used to but now works fine. I am very pleased with my arch mouse . . . and the service I received when I purchased it at Best Buy.

This mouse is innovative in design and operation. When flat it's "off"; when arched it's "on". Because it's fully Bluetooth, you don't have to worry about keeping up with a dongle. My only criticism is about the way the mouse goes non-responsive. This issue might be associated with the PC it is paired with, but I have a number of these items (and have given some as gifts) and they all have these "dead" periods. I simply turn it "off", then back "on", which seems to "reset" it. This device packs well for frequent and regular travelers.

This mouse was definitely a lot pricier than I would like but adds a lot more functionality to the Surface. Connecting it to the Surface was incredibly easy and it frees up the only USB slot which is nice. Travelling with it is easy as well, as folding flat also turns it off - in addition to automatically turning off when not being used in the curved position.

Works great with low power BT on multiple devices. Have to pair again when switching devices, but not a big deal. Easy to use. Does drop connection while using like a lot of other devices. Usually just turn off and on. I'm happy with it. Flat portability is great. Having a handy mouse for all surfaces with your hand in a comfortable position when using a laptop or Surface is very worth it. Good for when the touchscreen or track pad is just awkward or out of reach. Great to use in bed or on the couch. Great to use with Microsoft Display Adapter on a TV. Took one star off for disconnecting while in use and having to pair again on a device that's already been paired.

Most compatible mouse for my Surface RT.

You can not fathom how appreciative I am to have a compatible mouse for my Surface RT that will not use the only USB port it has. My USB port was used solely for my wireless mouse. I remember those time I had to give the port up to connect other USB devices to my surface. I have tried USB replicator, but the best of them (to get the same USB 2.0 speed) require a separate power source, which I could obtain from another USB port if I had another. So I had to use more devices, and plug more accessories, making my Surface bag as bulky as a laptop bag. With this mouse connecting via BlueTooth, which I don't use, it relinquish my USB port so I can use it for other devices, especially thumb drives (USB Drives). The way it is switched off and is stored away makes it fit into my Surface case without any problem. (My Surface bag is now a case). It is the real deal, and I will definitely recommend it for everyone, even my dog.

Very convenient. I have the Surface Pro 3 and having a Bluetooth mouse is wonderful to free up the one USB port that is offered. I cannot say that I like the way it feels in your hand and scrolling through pages isn't quite as nice as having a jog wheel but, all and all I'd rather have a free USB slot.

I had been using a laptop mouse which was still a little bulky in my satchel. The fact that this mouse folds flat makes storage so much better. It has taken time to adjust to a touch scroll versus a wheel scroll but once I got use to it, it seemed natural. I use my Surface for both a desktop and laptop/tablet and the Arc mouse is a great fit.

I bought this mouse after purchasing the surface pro 3. Wasn't really sure about it when I bought it,but after getting home and using it well I love it. I like the way it fits my palm and I also like the way it flattens out to shut off.I can toss it my bag and not have it take up space. I am truly glad I didn't second guess myself.
