Good Product but Cumbersome

Made a mistake and ordered a medium when should have gotten a large. I did get it to fit on the wrist but it was tight and would have been a bit clunky, even with the right size. I ended up returning the product, but would have kept it if i could have gotten a "large" size instead.

The Microsoft Band is by far, the best fitness tracker band available today. It certainly feels bulky the first minutes you put it on but the feeling surely will go away after you realize how bad and dumb are the rest of the bands/watches compared to this piece of technology.

I bought this band after some serious thinking. Although this band is pretty pricy, you really do get what you pay for. They have packed a ton of useful features into this thing that no one can match. Its like a dream come true. My only fuss is that it is a little uncomfortable to wear. Hopefully I will get used to it.

I'm very pleased with my Microsoft Band. This is the first time I've used such a product. I did go to a Microsoft store to get help in setting it up and matching it to my Windows 8 smart phone. It fits comfortably on my wrist and I've been using it for tracking steps while walking and monitoring sleep. There are still more features I haven't explored. It's great to have the band send a vibration when new phone calls, emails, texts come in with basic information to help me decide whether it's worth getting out my phone and checking. I recommend.

I wanted something I could wear during any workout and this is it. I wear it at hockey, doing P90x and it tells me my average heart rate, gives me a graph, calories burned and much more. If I run or bike I can get all those stats plus the GPS of where I went. I sync to my phone, name my workouts, and can review on my desktop. It tracks my sleep and gives me my resting heart rate every night.. It was everything i wanted and more!

I read the reviews and was sceptical about how comfortable the Band would be. I liked that Best Buy had one to try on in the store. After a couple weeks of wearing, (including while sleeping) the comfort level is excellent. I especially like the Starbucks tile and the alarm feature. I am using this with my iPhone and would probably get even more functionality with a Windows phone or hopefully when Cortana is released for iOS.

Needed a watch but wanted a little more. If the fitness aspects are not the main reason for purchasing then I definitely recommend.
PROS: Like the fact that I can screen calls; use to miss calls didn't hear or feel phone but now able to answer those calls I want to. I like being able to text without using my phone. Screen emails is a good feature. The fitness benefits are a plus and being able to monitor my sleep is pretty cool.
CONS: Not sure how accurate the pedometer is checked while in the car and it was still increasing my step count. Heart beat monitor also doesn't seem accurate either

I'm quite pleased with my Microsoft Band. Does everything I want in a health band including workouts, runs, heart rate, wakeup alarm, etc. Seems a little bulky when you first put it on but you forget its on soon afterward. Works great with my Windows Phone. Battery lasts for a few days with heavy use on Bluetooth synced to my phone all day.

First with the dislikes: It is a bit heavier than what I would have expected. The band does not mold to your wrist very well. It is kind of rigid and doesn't really curve to fit. I actually wear mine so that the face is down, underneath my wrist. It is easier to read that way because of the screen orientation. The GPS usually has difficulty getting a lock. OK, now the good. It had every feature I wanted, nothing more, nothing less which is why I chose this one over others. The watch linked to my phone easily and the app for my phone works fine. It is very easy to set up and customize to your own likes. You can even install a Starbucks app on the watch, pretty cool! I got a great deal on it since the new versions are coming out soon. All in all I would say it is worth what I paid for it.

My first fitness tracker - does many things well, walking, running, biking etc.
Only complaints are the short battery life and bulky shape - appears the shape is improved in Band 2.
I'm comfortable with it now so don't notice.

Great fitness band. I've had Polar Watches for years, and the'yre useless because one's heart rate reads zero or the screen reads "Check heart rate monitor" most of the time. This Microsoft band is always working. It's easy to set up, easy to use, comfortable to wear all day long. It's accurate, and the information that goes wirelessly to my iPhone and iPad give me an overall awareness of my fitness activity that truly helps me stay motivated.

This band is great for the price. Texts and email notice is nice for seeing snippet and I'd it's important.heart rate was very accurate, though it does fluctuate a lot during workout but averages well. Would buy again.

Like all the features that the watch has and that it can work with iphone. Only downside is it cannot respond to text or calls. Also the weather feature sometimes keeps showing Redmond, WA instead of local weather.

Overall Band is ok, it takes a while to feel comfortable wearing it. It has nice features like heart rate, GPS, email/text notification and weather/stock quotes. However there are some issues/concerns with this version (maybe newer version Band 2 addresses these):
1. heart rate reading not accurate, it was reading 70 when it's actually 100.
2. wish longer battery life - one full charge lasts about 40 hours while the charging takes couple of hours.
3. it stopped sync with my ipad mini after it ran out of battery and I had to reset to factory-default to get it going again.

Having roughly the same features and at half the price of the MS Band II, the MS Band I is worth the price. I have no issues about the square face design as many owners do; it's worth the buy.
