Voice chat quality is perfect, sounds like you’re talking to people in person if you’re using this mic in Xbox Party chat. Big convenient mute/volume buttons sit at the bottom of your controller when plugged in. Oddly great for how cheap it is. If you’re buying this for the sole purpose of using in Xbox party then this is definitely your best option. If you want a headset for hearing game audio through it then stay far away from this. That being said, this is the only mic I use for Xbox, I use speakers for game audio. Depends how serious you are with gaming I guess

It's not always about performance. Sometime simplicity really helps. The one and only reason I purchased this headset was to replace the original from my Halo Master Chief Bundle I also purchased thru Best Buy .... the big reason is because on real hot day's and no A/C a full on both ear padded headset just make's for a real hot head and it's always best to keep your cool.

It's a little brittle but works fine for chatting. I ruined my last headset by touching it and shocking it...it's cheap enough that I just bought the same one again. It's nothing fancy.

This is a nice headset for the Xbox One. It's simple yet has all the controls you need. The sound quality is clear and the mic seems to be very responsive. And it's not expensive.

Really enjoy this headset. I first purchased another one, it didn't fit right, & took it back. Got the one I should have gotten from the beginning. Fits great & works perfectly

This is a good headset since there isn't a wireless one out there yet for the Xbox one. This works in the meantime. Sounds comes through clear and others in the room cannot overhear.

It's not the expensive headphones and the sound experience could be a bit better but for the price hands down you get more than you pay for compared to the others that are over $100

Replacement for the packaged version. A good headset for communications. Keeps your ears free for your sound system without getting in the way. Sound quality is good on both ends.

2 teenagers were able to break the first version of this. So far new one is holding up well.

If you are looking for an inexpensive chat headset, that is still good quality....this is the one to get. The others in this price range are junk...do not waste your time.

What can I say? This headset does what it needs to do. However, if you have a kinect, you can that as a mic as well. I keep buying these headsets because my dog chews them up.

Buy the protection plan. My kids go through these. They are easily broken if stepped on or left in the couch cushions. They work great as long as they are taken care of.

A great headset for chatting when you have a sound system or soundbar. Have used these for years and they are always good quality.

The headset works as advertised, and not one bit more. I don't have any huge complaints against it, other than it isn't as comfortable as the stock Xbox 360 headset.

These headphones are delicate and poorly made. I bought this headset because the headset that came with the XBOX ONE stopped working after 9 months of light use. BEWARE! If you buy the extended protection plan from Best Buy for an XBOX ONE, the warranty DOES NOT COVER the headset! I found this out the hard way. Best Buy does not tell you this when they try to get you to buy the extended warranty.

Works very well with my son's Xbox One. Great value for the price. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive headsets, but it gets the job done.

Bought them because the others that were 10$ below the price had been returned often due to faulty material. Easy to use and decent sound quality.

When my children asked for the Xbox one headset because the old Xbox 360 headset wouldn't work in their new Xbox one game sysyem that Santa brought them, the first thing I did was take them to Best Buy to purchase a new one. As a parent, I do not like to be nagged for more than 48 hours straight, so getting off my couch was a priority at this point. I know Best Buy carries products for all game systems, and business with them is very quick, easy, and efficient. The headset worked, and the boys were able to meet and game with players all over the world thanks to this piece of well designed plastic with a microphone and speaker built in. Who in their right mind wouldn't spend their last dollar for peace of mind? Plus, for an additional fee, a warranty can be purcased that replaces it for years regardless if Jeffy the neighbor breaks it. Big high five for and 5 stars for this plastic wonder.
