I have been a gamer for over 10 years mostly FPS Halo COD and I highly recommend this to any and all XBOX gamers for their controllers. Hours of uninterrupted gameplay and ease of use.

Battery holds charge nicely. It would be nice if the charge cable were about 3 feet longer, but that's just so it would reach my couch and make it easier to play while plugged in.

The plug and play battery kit is very simple to use (plugs directly into the port on the Xbox One controller) and the charge lasts for longer than an entire day of near-continuous use. The only niggle is that sometimes when the cable is plugged in to charge the controller, the light does not come on without jiggling the cable a bit. Works well with the Elite controller.

This is a lithium ion battery like your cell phone it last a long time and can be charged thousands of times the off brands are usually nickel battery which suck and are only 5 bucks cheaper so go with the Xbox brand battery and u have the plug so u can always play and charge at same time. I play halo everyday and have charged this battery twice now I have had it for two months also if u turn the vibration off on the controller it will last twice as long between charges I did this cause I have the turtle beach recon that plug into the controller and even using those battery life is great.

It comes with a rechargeable battery and 3m (9ft) Micro USB cable. I have had issues with the batteries not holding a charge for long even when it was brand new, but such is life with rechargeable batteries. But out of the 5 kits I have had my hands on, only one of those had to be exchanged because the battery life sucked. The cable is long... but I do not think it is long enough. This really is only a problem if you choose to plug it into your xbox because you are having wireless interference issues, or the battery is dieing and you don't want to change it mid game. Most people's xbox is in the entertainment system 2m (6ft) away from the couch which doesn't leave much room for slack, cable routing, etc. The first time someone yanks on their controller (out of frustration or excitement) that is plugged in and crashes the hard drive in the xbox, I am going to be really upset... so I use an Anker 6 Port USB Charger by the couch instead.

Charges as it should. Haven't had any issues since I've had it. Well worth it with the amount of batteries I've wasted. I'd recommend that you buy it immediately with your controller if you know you'll be playing a lot like I have. Wish the cord was longer though.

Granted that by now you might be thinking that moving to a rechargeable controller was the next step forward for the Xbox One, but since they seem to have trouble trying to incorporate this they give you this. I'm not gonna lie this is by far the best accessory i've bought the battery fully charged last me about 2-3 and thats with an average playtime of about 3 to 4 hours a day. i was spending about 25 bucks on batteries a month this changed that and now if my controller is dying i plug it in and its good to go oh and the cable to charge with is a good Length also about 12 feet.

Wireless batteries rarely come with wireless controller, so you have the option of buying one separately. I purchased the charge and play kit, it is easy to use and charges the battery at lighting speed, bonus you don't have to save your game and wait.

Much better than constantly replacing batteries if you are stuck with a controller that isn't rechargeable. Lasts a long time and is much easier.

I purchased this battery to replace the energizer rechargeable batteries. These Microsoft ones appear to last longer, work much better, and the convenience of charging via usb cable, makes this product a must buy accessory.

This thing will save you money it may not last as long as your controller with batteries in it but its pretty close but now compare what happens if a controller with this battery pack dies against one with batteries. well with this rechargeable pack just throw it on the charge while playing if you'd like and your good to go. Now if you have batteries, which keep getting more and more expensive, you have to continuously waste your money on them. And theres nothing worse than a dead controller and no new batteries at home to replace the old ones.

This charge set works great. Lasts a long time compared to regular batteries, especially with headset plugged into controller. One big warning though.......we were using when charge ran out. We thought we could just pop out the pack, throw some AA batteries into controller and charge the pack up at night. When we went to remove batteries and put power pack back in to charge, it would not work. You cannot go back and forth between batteries and charge pack. It was only 3 days old. Got new one and it works great. DO NOT SWITCH BACK AND FORTH.

I've had issues with previous charge-packs before. So I was hesitant to purchase another one for the price Microsoft charges for it. I was leaning towards some 3rd party rechargeable batteries due to the lower cost, but I'm glad I didn't. This batter pack lasts surprisingly long, even for an avid gamer. I play almost every day, and rarely have to worry about my controller dying on me. My only issue is charging with a MicroUSB, as I always have issues with them. But that's the MicroUSB's issue and has nothing to do with the battery itself. Overall, paying for the name brand is worth it. If you want hours without having to interrupt your playing experience due to battery longevity, I highly recommend these. Would be 5 stars if it had some sort of charging station rather than having to charge directly in the controller.

Lasts a pretty long time on one charge. Cable was surprisingly longer than expected. It's made by Microsoft; you get what you pay for.
