wireless works fine, the product was helpful and the battery last fairly long

This contoller is for my 8yo, it works great and the color is perfect for him.

I bought this controller thinking it was wireless. I was tempted to return it once I saw it had a cable, but I figured a controller was a controller. I usually go through two controllers a year because of wear and tear and wireless controllers can get expensive. This wired option can save money (and batteries) in the long run and works just as fine once you get used to the cable.

For a person like myself with limited space, this wireless controller is perfect. It's functionality is second to none. The durable materials it is molded with, help with the occasional falls that occur from time to time. This controller is perfect for a person of beginning to moderate gaming use.

I never bother with third party controllers, as the quality is usually sub-par. Get this official Microsoft controller. The controller takes two AA batteries, which I think is more convenient that rechargeable controllers. Whenever the battery dies, just replace the batteries. I would say the battery life is pretty good, but make sure you always have extra batteries on hand. I just bought this one to replace an old one that lasted three years with nearly daily use. I have another one that is still going strong. It is pretty durable as well. It doesn't feel cheap.

Exactly what I wanted easy to pair with PC This is my second one so my son has one too. They also work with your console which is great when he has friends over. A++++ Better to have this since it works with PC and XBOX 360 console.

Listening to my son and his friends fighting over the 2 controllers the console came with was a pain. For a great price, I got two of these controllers and couldn't be happier with them. The boys can all play at once, and mommy gets a little peace and quiet! Duracell batteries were included (nice surprise), and they actually work for quite a long time.

Was looking for a wireless controller that had a good enough range to play PC games on our main TV. What I got was the best controller I could have asked for. Responsive, comfortable and INCREDIBLY easy to set up. Works with MAME and Steam flawlessly. LOVE this controller!!!!!

Easy to sync up with console, kids like the camouflage pattern

I actually bought this controller to use for PC games. I had been using a PS3 controller with some emulation software, because most PC games today just support an Xbox controller. Even my older Logitech PC controller generally doesn't work with today's games. But I got tired of the hassle of running the software, so decided the $40 for a controller to get rid of the aggravation was worth it. And that was so true! I got the wired one to avoid just swapping one set of aggravations for another. And I didn't want to mess around with a "compatible" one either, as I had run into problems with PS3 "compatible" ones previously. But I plugged this in and it just worked. I mean it, it just *worked*. Now even the controller hints on Tomb Raider make sense! And it surely made Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light game infinitely more playable. Throw in other PC controller games like Just Cause 2 and even Saints Row 2 (the only way to play it) and we have a cornucopia of great controller games. I tried The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing with it, but I think it plays better with the mouse and keyboard. But, all in all, this is the way to go with PC controller games - a stock, OEM Xbox 360 controller. Win all around!

The controller was extremely easy to setup right out of the box. I was using it within 5 minutes of opening the box. The only complaint I have, and this is probably more a console setting thann something wrong with the controller, is that if a wired controller is also plugged in, the wireless controller isn't ever assigned as controller 1.
