Gave this 2 in 1 laptop a two because the detachable tablet only has a battery life of 2-3 hours. It has no finger print scanner and you have to buy the pen separately. That's a big no no for me.

I love this laptop! I was hesitant because I have always used Mac but I needed a touchscreen. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a touchscreen laptop.

I have over 100 service books and surface book 2 is deployed in my organization and I find even with daily use for over two years only about a 1 to 2% failure rate. Better than other manufactures products.

The main thing i was looking for was an affordable, quiet, small laptop the could run windows for engineering applications. Great for taking notes since you dont need the keyboard attachment all the time.

This is my first Surface product. I’m really enjoying it so far. I love the tablet function, but it works well as part of a greater workstation, too.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is going to college in the fall. She is very pleased with it. Is looking forward to the fact that she can record her class lectures and not have to take notes.

My son requested this for his graduation gift when I asked what he could use. He uses it for his work and says it does what he needs and expected. No complaints. He was and is excited and pleased with the device.

Been using the surface for a while and it is such a functional laptop. I love how easy it is to switch between modes. I like disconnecting to take notes or draw.

As an apple user for years I’m finding this really hard to adapt to.. I don’t find the pen nearly as smooth as with my iPad but am getting used to it. It has great screen resolution.

It's flawless, except except, the headphone jack is on the top right of the screen. I wish Microsoft had provided one jack in the bottom. Rest of the machine can give tough competition to any flagship laptop(books) brand.

I use my Surface for work. My main purpose is for electronic medical records and medical use for work. It gives me all the tools and benefits I need to help me perform my work!

I'm a big user of Windows and Android. I was thrilled to find this surface for a good value. It does everything I need, boots up fast and performs really well.

Love the way is splits so I can use it as a tablet. Great for traveling. Works great for all my school assignments especially during these zoom classes.

I was looking for something that would protect my laptop at work and this works great. Make sure the screen is in snug or there will a gap between the case and the power and volume buttons.

I hate you can't just use as a tablet with power. You MUST power the whole thing to charge and can only use the tablet piece for so long and have to "dock" it to recharge. New Surface is better choice.

Great Surface product, but if you plan on doing more than documents or moving watching, go with the next tier up or take a look at the Surface book 3.

Graduation gift for my son. He already had a surface pro and he loved it so I went with the newer version for him to take to college. It works well and is slim so not so heavy.

This is my second surface (one for work and now one for home use). Super fast startup and shutdown and have had minimal issues with separating and using tablet. OS seems very stable too.

I decided to purchase surface book to replace my ipad. I like using it as a tablet and also as a notebook. I have not problem using it as both features and love the big size screen.
