For the price, this is a great laptop. Microsoft actually seems to know what they’re doing with hardware these days. Fast boot, very responsive, long battery life.

I love this laptop!! As a professional photographer, who also enjoyed drawing my own graphic designs and edits with both photoshop and lightroom (I use a fee Adobe products), this device handles it all!!! I love how I can flip it around, wirelessly connect to my desktop and use the pen to edit on my computer using it like a super accurate (wacom) tablet!! If you're on the fence about this, just get it! You wont regret it!!

Best computer Microsoft has ever been assoicated with-period! Fast, powerful & easy to use-and cheaper with more bells and whistles than an Apple.

It took me a long time to decide what computer I wanted to buy. I looked at mac's and the surface line as they are both are really close in price. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend as much as I did and after using both the mac's and surface products it made my decision a lot easier. I love the surface book 2. It's really fast and the touch screen is phenomenal. Having a laptop that can also be a tablet is the best of both worlds. I've owned it now for about 3 weeks and I have no complaints. It fully meets all my expectations. Highly recommend !

been a user of macbook pro for 5yrs. however, when i decided to go back to school, i need a laptop that will adapt to the speed of my fingers, eyes, hands, and mind. macbook pro was great, but there's a lot of learning and strategies for multitasking. so i decided to sell it, and bought his surface book pro. battery life is excellent, vibrant screen, responsive touch screen, great camera quality (especially in low light- decent), great sound, and excellent connectivity.

The base model of the surface book 2 is the best laptop I had ever owned. I didn’t purchase the Surface book 2 for the specs but for its flexibility. This machine is a laptop when you need it and a tablet when you need it. I love the feel of the keyboard and I also love the pen functionality on the screen. I would recommend this 2 in 1 to college students, researchers, and to those who write and edit papers.

I love that this computer can become a tablet or a laptop. I use it for business and school. The speed is amazing.

I owned a macbook pro for 5 years and loved it. Then I used a surface and loved the touchscreen and speed of it, it was absolutely comparable to my macbook. I went in to buy a new macbook but ended up getting the surface laptop/tablet 13 inches. It was the same price as the newest macbook pro but i get touchscreen capability with it. And it runs just as well! Couldn't be happier, even though I use to always say I would never get a windows computer. Just goes to show.

Love the speed and power and detachable keyboard. The fast boot up and face recognition sign in is amazing.

This computer has been a game changer for me. It works well, is easy to use, and, I think, has a great battery life. Every now and then it'll make the sound that notifies you the screen is being released without it actually happening, but I just turned off my sound because it doesn't actually affect anything. 10/10 would buy again.

Fast and reliable. I bought the pen too. The pen is a must have. It makes everything easier.
