Every now and then I will detach the screen, but I ultimately dock this machine and work it like a desktop. It's nice to have the options to be mobile though.

Bought for my daughter so she could get use to drawing on a tablet before she heads to college in the fall. She has enjoyed using the Surface Book 2 for more than just drawing. The one thing that would have made this purchase better is if it came with the pen.

I would recommend this device to anyone who is looking for a Notebook type of machine. All of the Microsoft Surface products I have used (a Surface Pro and now this Surface Book 2) have worked extremely well. The Surface family of machines are truly hardware and software integrated based products.

Amazing Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would of gave this laptop a 5 star rating but the only thing stopping me is the battery life. The surface book 2 is advertised to have 17 hours of video playback, but averages around 12-14 hours just doing daily functions (i.e., emails, web browsing, college). Additonally, on other surface products you can see the amount of time left on your battery. Sadly, however, the surface bool 2 does not provide that.

Fred (Involved with finance) worked for a long period of time to make the deal work. Exchanged product to get larger SSD. Your credit subcontractor is terrible. Please inquire from me directly. Over an hour for the initial purchase without justification (Own home, automobiles, pay all three credit cardd on time- CALL ME.)
