Light weight but with a good size screen. No issues with games.

There are so many extras to this laptop - the flexibility of the keyboard section to screen is awesome and that was one of the major problems with my last laptop. - I bought the surface pen too, so that has it's own great review as well, but definitely makes this laptop more easy to use and entertaining - long battery life

Likes: Large touch screen, excellent keyboard and track pad. Dislikes: The only dislike I can think of is the release button for the detachable touch screen takes a little long (3 - 5 seconds, not really a deal breaker, just wished it were faster.) Ive owned this laptop for over 2 years, its perfect!

Bought two of these for my mobile business due to the hard case. I have a smaller one for personal use that has been dropped several times and still functions. Two issues: repair of screen when does need it can be problematic and no ethernet socket. Did buy a ethernet to usb connector for $11-15 dollars to sync with the main server. Since Microsoft, it is pricey.

Amazing laptop. Hardware, look, feel is great. My biggest concern is reliability in the long run. 3 weeks into owning the product my trackpad stopped clicking when pressed down upon. Could no longer double click. I took it to the Microsoft Store and got it instantly replaced with no questions asked. But you would think for a $2,500 laptop you wouldn't have issues like this. Concerned about it lasting down the line. You do get a 1 year warranty. Perhaps mine was just a bad batch since I did get it when it was first released.

This is a good machine. Lightweight but very powerful.

Used in an office and can handle office intensive applications without problems. A little on the heavier side, so arms can get tired if carrying around for most of the day, but the battery arrangement truly lasts all day. Tablet/touchscreen capabilities are excellent.

Light and compact. As much as it costs the pen should be included.

Gets the job done with my computer work. It’s light and easy to carry around.

I was looking for a windows laptop that would be comparable to my 15inch Mac Book Pro. This computer does it and more. It is fast and the detachable touchscreen, which allows it to be used in tablet mode, make it a winner! I love it and now use it more than I use my Mac Book!

Overall, I love my laptop. I gave it only 4 stars because sometimes the laptop doesn't like to come on when I press the power button. This seems to be a common problem with Microsoft laptops and I hope they get the problem fixed soon. It doesn't do it a lot but when it does it can be frustrating because this was an expensive laptop.

This unit is a powerhouse! So far, rock steady. Bought on clearance sale at a great price and it’s not disappointing. CAD, PhotoShop, you name it, it’ll handle it all. A bit large when detached and in tablet mode, but still a joy to work on.

This is certainly a very sturdy, professional-feeling device. Wonderful screen, great keyboard. Before buying this great device, I had bought its smaller, 13" version, but the larger screen was much more suited for my primary usage as a laptop- with large tablet capability.

I run big programs for photo editing and graphic manipulation, so most out of the box computers aren't up to the task. I needed the mobility of a laptop and was pressed for time so bought this and the surface pen. It isn't work horse enough for my primary machine but works great for field work, maitnence work and such.

I use the surface book for school and it has not let me down. I only charge it once a day at night and that’s after continuous use throughout the day. I have not taped into it’s full potential yet but for running Microsoft office software it does the job.

Great product as normal it required an OS update. Now please note I'm not lacking IT knowledge or experience having 35+ years supporting IT. Eight of those was an Window Engineer. Its just frustrating when you have a new laptop that requires this immidate OS update and you encounter the windows error that requires a register hack. Ok, thats a problem to me. New laptop, new os and Microsoft requires a registry hack to fix there software issue. Very poor product support and user experience. This hack is not for a novelist. I am only recommending this product because of the great leadership at Best Buy. Best Buy took great care of Microsoft's issue and resolved it quickly. Thank you Best Buy! Microsoft should do a better job with there OS's and take customer support lessons from you (Best Buy)! Thank you again Best Buy - Awesome Job!

This computer is good, but not perfect. I've had mine less than a week and am already worried about the hinge being tight enough. Coating on metal already has multiple scratches and I don't understand how or why. Aside from that this is an excellent, versatile machine with the ability to be used in multiple ways.

This is my best purchase hands down, I can do all of my notes hand written when in tablet mode on one note and easily turn it around and do the rest of my homework. It’s great to have everything on one device and stop carrying around notebooks.

I believe Microsoft Surface (or Surface-like) product are the best devices you can use for improving your productivity with Windows 10. The Surface Book is the most powerful one which fully matches my daily use. It is fast, elegant and productive
