Very fast and easy to use with portability. I use it for class

It's a little sensitive but I think in time I will get use to it. So far it has performed very well

I ought this laptop for school about six months ago and I've fallen in love with it more and more every day since. The software experience is wonderful, as well is the hardware. Really, the only downside is having to constantly inform people that it's a Surface Book because everyone assumes it's a MacBook at first glance due to its wonderful design.

I had a Surface Pro 3 and wanted to keep the functionality but wanted more stability that the Surface Book gave. Perfect marriage of tablet and laptop without sacrificing function. I could never get used to the keyboard on the other - this works perfectly and feels real.

This is a convenient laptop. Love the convertible ability. It is however a little laggy/glitchy.

Does everything you need it to. Light and fast. easy to use.

Best purchase ever, I like it even better than my new Lamborghini or my mansion. Replaced my iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and my Surface Pro 3

The metal body construction feels sturdy and looks beautiful. It has a 4k touch screen that looks great and responds well to touch. The battery life is pretty decent lasting 4-6 hours with normal use. Windows 10 is mostly stable with some occasional hiccups when switching between laptop and tablet mode. Overall I'm satisfied with it.

The 2 in 1 function is very useful. I do have a problem with the fan as the screen heats up when it stays on for more than 2 hours.

My son has a Microsoft Surface 3 and really likes it. Works great in a college classroom setting for him to take notes on. The Surface Book is larger and faster. Although I have not used it for everything it is capable of yet, I am sure I will have no problems. Very user friendly. Good sound for something so small. Good graphics.

We've been using the Surface Book as a more or less daily driver around the house and when traveling. So far it's done a great job at both productivity tasks and as a general doodle toy and internet consumption device. No complaints 30 days in, it's fast enough to do everything we've asked of it and the screen is gorgeous.

This computer is great! The memory, screen, processing, etc is perfect for any needs.

New at using the Surface so I cannot yet give it 5 stars. Still learning to navigate with the touch pad but improving each day. The pen is a great instrument. The weight of the unit is acceptable. I'm sure I would be able to say more favorable things after I have used it for awhile. I am very satisfied at this point.

Fast Lap Top/tablet....superb battery life. Graphic card makes for a great image. Speed and quietness of the computer make it worth the investment. Certainly recommend this computer for anyone looking to update. I do suggest purchasing a mouse for it, left and right mouse buttons make it easier for navigation.

I went back and forth with this and the Surface Laptop and chose the Laptop because of the lightweight and newer processor. I preferred the keyboard by far on the Book though. Had I needed the detachable tablet I likely would've kept the Book and it also came with the Pen which the Laptop does not.

These Surface Book have been replacing our laptops/tablets within our office.

I purchased this laptop to be used as a business computer. The laptop has a lot of nice features and excellent screen resolution. I would definitely recommend this for personal computing or for sales man and other professionals that do a lot of traveling. A downside to this is that it is not the most robust machine in terms of interacting with the network. I would have liked a more robust docking station set up. They basically provide you with what announced to be something slightly more than a USB hub and it comes at a substantial price of around $200. The other struggle I've had is getting it to sync up with two external monitors. It handles one external monitor just fine though.

Very happy with this purchase. When researching all brands, I finally had it narrowed down to the Surface Pro 3 and Surface Book. My last two laptops failed at the hinge, so the beefier hinge of the Surface Book is one feature I really liked. Also, the chance to upgrade to a power base (?) later was another plus as my son is going into Computer Animation...so he might take this to college in 6 months. The only reason I rated this 4 stars is the pen attachment is not secure. I've already "lost" it 4 times in my own house. I wish there was a loop or something physical to hook it into...instead of a magnet. On the other hand, the power cord magnet attachment is brilliant. No more cord or jack stress if the cord is accidentally pulled while plugged in. Highly recommend, just watch out for your pen!

The surface book is fast, nice for drawing and painting in which i am an artist. I like it better than my wacom! So far i have had no problems, the only thing is its a bit heavier than i thought it would be. I use this more than my laptop or my desktop. I also love the pen very steady when drawing.

Best hybrid laptop in the market. At first, it sounds expensive, but it's definitely worth it.
