Having used a surface pro for work the surface book definitely adds some usability and productivity improvements. The dedicated graphics and firm keyboard are good. Have not yet tried a game on it but the resolution and screen are gorgeous.

Love the pen and detachable screen. Works great for my classes.

Let me start by saying that I am an avid Mac user and Apple fan. This Surface Book, that I purchased as a development machine, is the only Windows machine to date that I would rather use than my MacBook Pro, or any other Mac I've had in the past. The hardware is outstanding and the fit and finish is near perfect. Windows 10 is rock solid as well. I love the detachable screen and Windows Hello is huge for logging in quickly. I understand that the Surface Book had initial bugs but I've experience none recently. Microsoft knocked this one out of the park and deserves some massive credit for making a machine that showcases everything they have to offer.

The product has a great battery life is powerful enough to be used for coding, some games and everything else. In tablet mode the performance is on par with Ipad / nexus 7. THe battery in laptop mode is easily 8hr+ with normal use.

Great unit but as with all equipment that uses battery, never enough.

Love my surface book pro. Excellent design features. I mostly use as a laptop. The one issue I have is when switching to tablet sometimes it doesn’t register the keyboard being re-attached and you have to restart.

After going back and forth between this and Apple I chose the Surface. Battery life is awesome but feels kind of cheap in your hands compared to MacBook Pro. Since you get a tablet and laptop in one I chose the Surface.

This is my first new laptop in about 8 years and I was nervous about Windows 10 but it was easier than I expected to get right to work. I don't use the pen/tablet feature so I can't speak of that. Very happy with it.

Use it only as a laptop. Too big and heavy to hold as a tablet

I'm not much of tech guy and not very computer literate. That being said, the Surface Book is great for anyone to use easily and successfully. Quick set up, great graphics and the light pen is fun. I'd recommend it.

Purchased for my wife. It replaced an ASUS laptop. She travels a lot and likes the size and weight of the computer. She also like the ease of removing the keyboard.

Countless hours were spent researching options and actually visiting Best Buy to compare offerings. We landing on the Surface Book and our son is extremely happy - convenient, fast - everything he wanted.

Have had multiple issues with screen/display. The display does not rotate even after reinstalling updates/restoring.

This is a great little laptop. It has performed flawlessly and I couldn't be happier. It has lots of power but is small and light and easy to carry around. I love the ability to easily switch from laptop to tablet.

It is a great product. One might think such a thin machine is fragile and really it seems quite rugged. All the special features are great and it's fast. I do recommend the buy the extra protector.

I love my laptop. It has a very fast processor and it's suppose to be good for annimation, which I haven't had the chance to try yet. This product was recommended for annimation which I am going into.

I love my new mac book a little pricey but worth the money in future business investments. It's super fast and the tablet and pen is a whole other level when it come to work , play and usefulness!

My daughter chose this over a Macbook. I was shocked but she swears by it. Have to admit the battery life and touch screen are not features Apple delivers on.
