Very lightweight, good construction quality, but can get expensive very quickly when adding accessories such as keyboard and pen.

Use to have an older Surface device (Surface Pro 4) when the tablet died for about 10+ years and I enjoy using the Surface tablet. So I decided to try the Surface Go 2. A little small but has the same feel from the previous Surface. Wish it had the USB 3.0 connector but it now replace with the USB-C connector instead. You might want to look of getting a small multi-hub device with a USB-C connector if you want to connect with several external devices.

A bit bummed since it is on display with the key board and there isn’t a notice saying it’s basically just the screen but other than that works great highly recommended

I love this device, it is a perfect size to travel with super fast and functions great, so glad I got the sim card for travel it worked great

I will preface this review first by saying that I am a Best Buy Technical Insider and Reviewers in this invitation-only program are provided products for the purpose of writing honest, unbiased reviews. The Surface go is a great small form PC. It fits in any backpack and when paired with the cover (a great addition) and is a perfect office on the go setup. the keyboard also offers protect as well. I love having the ability to have my O365 suite available in such a compact unit. I basically have my office with me wherever I go, should an emergency pop up. I installed a VPN and can hit my desktop in a few seconds with no lag issues for the surface. The 8 gig of ram and the Pentium Gold processor (1.7 GHz ) is perfectly pair for the office user, student or those that want to stay connected. Boot time is less than 20 seconds. I wouldn’t try to play new games or try to manipulate videos or photos as this will definitely tax the system, but it wasn’t built for this anyway. The screen is spot on and crisp and clear (resolution is set at 1920 X 1280 which is perfect). Great for movie viewing when you pop out the kickstand that’s built in. The added SD slot is great for expandability. The onboard SSD is enough for the office minded. I would definitely take advantage of the SSD slot, should the need for more storage arrive. Online meetings work great with the camera (5mp front and 8mp rear both set at 1080p) even in low lighting my meetings were crisp and clear. The speakers are adequate for such a small unit. I will eventually pair it with some buds or use the 3.5 mm port for wired ear phones for better results. The battery life is about 10 hours, Less if you are beating on it all day. The Microsoft Pen works great with the surface as well, I am able to draw, take notes and share ideas quite easy. In closing I would definitely recommend this to friends and family who are looking for a portable PC, Perfect for browsing, office, or email on the go that doesn’t take up space or weigh a ton.
