Slow as a snail, but overall good build quality. If you plan on doing any gaming at all on this, even light stuff like I was planning on (Roblox, etc.) don't even try.

This tablet is small, light weight and performs very well. The Go 3 is a 10.5 inch tablet that weighs about pound. This version of the Go 3 has the Intel Gold 6500 processor, 8GB of Ram and a 128GB of SSD drive. (The base version comes with 4GB of Ram and a 64GB of eMMC drive) In addition, it includes a USB C port, Micro SD port positioned in the back behind the kick stand (the kick stand is highly adjustable and works great), headphone jack and the magnetic interface for charging. There are two controls on top of the unit for powering on the device and the volume control for the speakers. There are both a front and rear camera of 5MP for the front and 8MP for the rear. The screen is a 1080P IPS panel and there are 2 built in speakers. The Go 3 comes preloaded with Windows 11. The Go 3 has exceptional Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5. I connected several of my Bluetooth headphones and speakers that all worked perfect with no lag. As with all of the basic Microsoft tablets they do not include the optional detachable keyboard, mouse or pen. As I have come to expect from Microsoft products the unit was very well packaged. After unpacking and charging the unit I was able to set it up and link my One Drive account to the unit and have all of my regular icons on the screen. It was very easy to set up. I found the performance of the Go 3 to be exceptional for my needs. The screen is large enough with a nice boarder around the edges to keep finger prints off the screen. The screen can get very bright and the built-in speakers sound very good for a device of this size. The touch screen function works extremely well and the built-in keyboard works perfect. I considered the detachable keyboard but for the way and where I use the Go 3, I see no need for the keyboard especially if you have this sitting on your lap or on the couch next to you. Most people I know including myself already have very high-powered desktops and laptops for business productivity and would not necessarily be looking at a small tablet to serve as their primary productivity device. This was my case. I already have an I5 desktop and a 15” Rysen 7 Surface laptop 4. I wanted a tablet that I could use around the house or take places that was small and light weight. I stream a lot of content at home and like to research information about various things I watch and it becomes cumbersome carrying around a large laptop. This device is perfect for surfing the web, streaming movies and general uses. The Go 3 is perfect for this need. It obviously isn’t as fast as the Surface laptop or has as big a screen but that is to be expected given the fact the cost difference is almost $1000. I don’t expect to build large spreadsheets on a small tablet or write a novel in Word. This Go 3 is for someone that wants good performance in a small package. I originally used the Go 3 with power saving mode turned off and got about 4.5 hours of use time and then turned power saving mode on and am getting about 7.5 hours of use time. These times are fine considering I do not use this in my office for 8-10 hours of work. I am still trying to see if I can get close to the 11 hours Microsoft claims is possible. A lot of people spend twice as much on a cell phone and end up with a smaller screen and less performance than the Go 3 can provide. Granted you can’t make phone calls from a tablet but you can get a great computer for the money. If there was one thing I wish Microsoft would make was a cover for the Go 3 that did not include the keyboard just to provide some protection for the device. I had to end up buying a 3rd party cover for this purpose. Consider how you are going to use a tablet before you start comparing it to larger laptops or even larger tablets and I think you will find this Go 3 a perfect solution. I did and highly recommend it.

I bought this to replace my Go 2. As always it is the perfect size and has enough power to do basic things like web surfing check, checking email and watching video. Added bonus is it is small enough to carry in a bag without weighing you down.

Wanted a new tablet and this is super. I also bought a keyboard for it and a hub for attaching other things. Use it mostly for Office 365 and it is super. Recommend it to anyone that wants a little smaller foot print.

The Surface Go 3 is an excellent platform, we use it to control our cinema server (DCP) in a small art house cinema. Works wirelessly and flawlessly. Nice screen!

Beyond awesome! This little 2-in1 is exactly what I needed and Microsoft delivered! I also purchased the removable keyboard and mouse and am equally satisfied with those two purchases as well!

I bought this to function as a backup computer (my primary is a Dell XPS) for running sound and video cues for live theater. While I LOVE the form factor (how small, thin and light it is), I'm finding it to be a little underpowered for my needs. It struggles to play video clips smoothly. I'm sure it's a fine little machine for basic tasks and "tableting" though.
