I got Gen 1 Surface pro and needed to extend my screen for streaming video. Glad I bought it. Watching ESPN 3 and Cricket World Cup on my big screen.

Works great! Instead of buying the $200 docking station I just bought this, and a dongle! Saved myself a ton of money and works just as well

Thanks to this product i can now connect my surface pro 3 to my monitor and tv via HDMI. It works perfect. The visual quality is amazing.

I found both cables and was going to choose the cheapest one (the one for RT), but a friend I was with told me they were different, which I didn't believe, so we asked. Yes, the ports for the Surface RT and the Surface Pro are different. That doesn't make much sense to me, but it is what it is. Just be careful to check which cable you need and if in doubt, have them open the box. It doesn't hurt to check between versions as well because in the future they might go to another type of port.

This product performs as expected and is better than other after market adapters due to the bevel on cord fits neatly on the Surface.

My Surface will not project to a wireless display so with this adapter I am able to share the display with others on a SmartTV.

Works the way that it is supposed to. Get this instead of the wireless version if you are planning to use it for video/audio

I needed this to use my Surface for presentations for meetings. A must have if you need an HDMI projection connection

This is a must for any Surface owner. I've used third party adapters before but they don't work as well as this one.

This product does what it should do. The downside is that it is too much money for what it is.

Have a converter cable on old work monitor with dvi shorts out a bit and needs adjustment. Sure it works better on strait hdmi

Have been very pleased with the Surface Pro. The adapter lets me project NFL rewind on my Brest Buy purchased Sony 65" TV making the football games fantastic to watch

First time I plug it in to my tv, I was amazed, the picture is beautiful, great to watch a movie

Seems pretty pricey for an adapter like this, with the length being short. Connection is quick and easy. No guess work.

This connector works just as it is supposed to. It's pretty easy to get going and configure as you want. I use it to mirror my Surface Pro to my large screen TV. The only downside I can see is that my mouse seems to lag when using the connector. No biggie and certainly no deal breaker.

Great item, allows the use of a larger monitor and masked doing my business work much easier.
