I think even though it was pretty cheap, it not worth the money. I found that it is much more convenience to use just regular mouse. My verdict - Surface pen as accessory is Not necessary at all . Be aware.

Get the Pro 4 pen

It is a lot better, weighted better, better magnet, better feel on screen and the eraser is really cool. This is a good second pen to leave in a bag or at work so you dont have to lug around your really good one.

Nice Improvement

Coming from the Surface Pro 2, this pen is a nice improvement. The double click for a screen shot is cool and I get much use out of One Note. Also using this for Photoshop is very accurate.

It took a little while to get it going because the spring in the battery compartment fell out when I opened it. I spent time wondering how the cover could make connection with the battery. I almost returned it until I found the spring laying on the couch. Once I got that worked out, everything started working, and I am quite happy with it.
