MS has refined the software experience over time and now it is rock solid. It is my favorite device to use now. Initially, I discounted the value of the premium feel they are building into Surface devices, but having been using one now for over a year (SP4 and now the newest) I am completely on board with their approach. Alcantara feels great, and it enhances the whole experience. You won't regret spending a bit extra on one of these, I think you'll appreciate it!

The device problems seem to happen to a percentage of purchasers, happens with any product. Glad to say, I Have had no such issues, and had no need for service or support yet. So far, this has been one of the best portable computers I have ever purchased, daily use, easy and wonderful to use. The only negatives I have had with the device is the price. These things are really expensive.
