    Great upgrade for me

I turned in an iPad mini 2 and '12 model 17.3" Samsung laptop for this beauty. I couldn't have made a better choice in my upgrade and purchase. As a full-time employee in Accounting, full-time student, mom, and wife... It's helpful in more ways than I thought it would be. The sleek style of a tablet-laptop that was accompanied with stylus as well as an expandable slot for memory, USB port and all the necessities of programs and memory packed into such a portable, lightweight and diverse piece of technology is all worthwhile for my bucks. I'm very, very satisfied and would definitely recommend to anyone who is a multitasking and gadgety person. You won't be disappointed.

I was torn whether to get the Surface 3 or Surface pro 3 for what I typically do. My laptop crapped out and I needed to replace it but wanted it to be tablet sized which is why I considered the Surface 3. Glad I saw this as price was a factor, and Since I had some rewards bucks to use as well, brought the cost way down and I got a very capable device for not too much. A con would be the charging cable, but not a deal breaker. The kickstand being able to have infinite positions is amazing for so much that I do I work and the pen is very accurate and useful. Getting the keyboard is a must and I wish they just included it in the price since 130 is pretty steep. I would recommend this to anyone on the fence, can't beat it for the price.

I turned in an iPad mini 2 and 17.3" Samsung laptop, because I wanted something more portable, just as lightweight (or close to it), thin (for quick movement and some flexibility), something to hold interest in my leisure/play as well as carry power for my work in financials and academic studies, and sheik ☺️ I got all of what I wanted, needed, desired and more in my Surface Pro 3. With the detachable keyboard, a handy stylus (when needed, which is often for me with/without my keyboard because I wear my nails long, lol), the slot for expandable memory (although I have a 128gb on the Pro 3), and just the option to move about freely atop of being able to carry in even my nicest/basic handbags really adds quality over quantity with the purchase. I was a little apprehensive about the buy at first, but after the Best Buy rep (in store) answered all my questions (even the quirky ones lol); even fulfilled all my requests of the purchase down to an having a box without dents (quirky). Best buy ever (little word play there ☺️). Thanks BB

I don't usually buy referbs. I initially didn't know that the associate was selling me a refurbished model. I noticed a $150 discount but didn't catch the reason until 2 days after I had set it up. This is buy far the best tech purchase I have ever made. It runs really smooth and is very user friendly. The hand writing recognition is so useful for writing quick notes when you don't have a desk to spread out on. I use my surface at home, work, and school and have yet to find a downside.

I wanted the surface pro 3 so I could have a smaller laptop like device to bring to classes throughout the day. The charger however is another story, you have to place the rectangular part flat on the ground in order for it to charge. The part connecting from the wall to the battery (rectangle) sometimes comes apart very easily and you have to manipulate it to charge. Therefore I ended up buying another charger to use for convince.

I wanted a small laptop to take with me on work trips that was my own and not a work computer. This is small enough and the sound is way better than my iPad. I would have to use headphone for that one to get good sound watching any shows or movies on it. But with this Surface I didn't need to.

I am using the surface pro 3 for school and it works perfectly. I can use it as a laptop to write papers; the pen is awesome when I need to highlight my e-books and make notes on one note. I can also watch movies and surf the web. Not slow at all.

The Surface pro 3 is amazing - runs everything I need and then some. I use painter in conjunction with photoshop for doing digital artwork, and it works amazingly well for that, as well as all the meeting and business uses I put it through. I do recommend a spare stylus as well as they keyboard - on screen typing for me, at least, is always tough, and I prefer a physical keyboard to the touch screen keyboards.

Overall very good tablet/ laptop. I would have liked to have more options for upgrading memory both RAM and hard drive. I purchased 128G hard drive and I filled it in a few.

this honestly is a perfect balance of desktop and tablet and I'm saying that for all surface products. I have an iPad,nexus 10 and a surface out of the 3 I use this this most simply because I'm use to using a desktop for school and at home plus I have more freedom with the standard PC set up

I have had this Microsoft Surface Pro 3 for 2 years now and it has served me very well as a work laptop in the field of project management. I have used it daily since picking it from in-store and it has spent many days out in a field environment without skipping a beat. I know they have made improvements to the pen (this one is not magnetic and only sticks to the keyboard with a glue-on sleeve) as well as a few other mods that were minor but needed. Feels like I bought it yesterday and that's saying a lot, given how much I have put it through in 2 years!

The surface pro 3 is a powerful replacement for a full size computer. It works amazing as a tablet the only downfall is the limited app support. The small size makes it easy to take anywhere you go. Would definitely buy another one!!!

I have been a hater of WIndows 8 and their computers for a long time. The Surface Pro has changed this. Great computer. Seems like the hardware is optimized for the software. Only drawback is that it is tough to use as a laptop when you want to place it on your lap...It's awkward to rest on your legs
