We just love the size and it's so light it fits almost anywhere. Definitely great for a student or business person. Still need to get the hang of it a little and note is sort of confusing to use

I needed something that would be easy to transport for school and this is working great. Small, light weight and I like that I can easily add a keyboard. Only downside, the browser is a bit slow.

My pro 3 does everything I need it to do. It could use more memory so I plan on adding an SD card in the near future. Other than that it performs as expected. Better than my nexxus 7 by far.

the surface pro 3 is fast,light, and has a beautiful display. the only down side is when you search for something the keyboard does not automatically pop up like apple products.

I love this tablet. I'm not wild about the 'app store' or the fact that when social networking I often cannot open articles or pictures: 'there is no app on this device to open this type of link', indeed! But, that's a software thing not a hardware problem. The pen is a problem, does it turn off?! And, where will I find batteries for this thing!? The keyboard will light, cool! The touchscreen - wicked! But, why does it not come with a screen protector - fingerprints, ugh! It's handy. It's easily portable. It's effective! Wonderful!

I have always wanted a surface pro. We decided on the surface pro because of the front and rear facing camera. Once I got it out of the package and started using it, it has been amazing. I can write notes and change it in to text. The weight of it is phenominal. My only real problems are, it runs windows 8. I love windows 7 a lot more. The other is its such a small screen, but since it's a tablet, all I have to do is use my fingers to enlarge the pages, pictures, or anything else I may be working on. I love my surface pro 3

I was looking specifically for a tablet with great handwriting recognition, and this fits the bill. I love that it has two versions of OneNote; you can take notes on a full screen, then convert it to text. I've then copied and pasted that into my word document program of choice and have had no problems. The touch screen is responsive, and the visual display is wonderful. I love this tablet!

Excellent machine. Went from a fully built tower to replacing it with the surface and although I miss the 2 24" monitors of real estate I once had, this is fully capable of everything a desktop, laptop or tablet can get you (except heavy gaming). Having a tablet with a fully functional OS as well as a mobile OS has been amazing. I find myself in both platforms and multi-tasking is brilliant. It's VERY light. I bring it from home to work everyday and have no issue. I am very impressed with the screen overall. It's bright, resolution is great and for 12" it is a beauty. I definitely recommend this product to anyone. I was actually one fence about buying the surface or going back to a MacBook air and I can't say how relieved I am that I went with the surface pro 3. -Jeff

I LOVE this one! I can do everything I could on my large laptop and then some! Compact, lightweight, and easy to learn. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.

I bought five surface pro 3's, for business use. They're working out great. The transition from desktop to surface pro 3 using a Microsoft platform was a lot easier for my employees. The large display is easier to read and a pleasure to work with. The set up and customization was a breeze and fit right into our daily processes. The conversion went better than I thought it would .

I bought the Surface Pro 3 because it seemed a convenient solution for both a tablet and a laptop. So far it's been great. I'm able to do all of the things I could on my laptop; it's lightweight and travels well; and the graphics and sound qualify is great. My only issue was trying/still trying to figure out how to use it. After a month of daily use, there are still things that I haven't figured out how to do successfully. For example, copy and paste - sometimes it works with my finger, sometimes it works with only the pen, sometimes it doesn't work at all. Unfortunately, I don't understand why or what is different in each scenario. Overall, the Surface Pro 3 is a great investment and step up from both a laptop and tablet.

I'm really glad I got this. It compliments my work PC so I can do work at home if needed. Nice & small like a tablet makes it easy to take it on the go.

Great replacement for a laptop and tablet all in one. I love my IPad but I hate Windows. The Google Chrome products (Docs, Forms. Sheets, etc.) are my go-to solutions for almost everything I do. Unfortunately my graduate courses demand Windows and Office so I borrowed a Surface to demo it. In spite of my disenchantment with Windows, I found myself using the Surface more than any of my other devices. Recently, I gave in and bought one for myself. It has become the only device I use. I would definitely recommend it to others! The only hangup I have with it is that it fails to charge properly sometimes and you must troubleshoot the charging process. Once you figure it out, though, it is a breeze.

Purchased version 2 a year ago and this version is much better! Modern speed and can run just about any program a typical laptop can. Have not tested its durability yet but so far so good. Touch screen is very nice also. Enjoy writing notes on it. Having the larger screen is nice also.

This tablet was exactly the size I wanted--larger than my Kindle Fire, but smaller than a laptop. It was easy to set up and has so far been very user friendly. I added Microsoft Office, so I can create documents on it as well as checking e-mail, playing games, and surfing the Net. I also purchased a mobile hotspot so I can use it anywhere and not be limited by availability of wi-fi.

I am in love with my surface pro! I have the accessories to go with it and it is perfect for my online job and online classes!

This is a great tablet that replaces the use of a laptop when used with the keyboard. I can print, download software, play games, etc. just like I would be able to do on a laptop. The size is great and portable. I get all my schoolwork done on here which is very helpful. I don't plan on switching from Microsoft Surface any time soon. I've had it for the past two years and really like it.

Heading to Stockholm for a semester abroad this tablet filled the need for a lightweight, powerful and functional computer.

I seriously can't think of anything bad to say about this device. Fast, light, awesome screen, easy to use......Love it!

I'm loving the battery life. I didn't think I would use it as a laptop but I totally am and really love its size.
