very decent device in the proper hands
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After cleaning out all the pre-installed bloatware, this is actually working out quite well. The primary user is a non-tech savvy elderly man and he hasn't had any problems with it yet!

Great tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this has been a great tablet. I needed a tablet that was not on Windows 10 platform to be compatible with some work programs. This tablet fit the bill. Very easy to use and has all the features that I need.

Not a fanboy, but it sure feels like I am.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent screen response and brightness. Excellent pen response even to the edge of the screen, my other tablets with Wacom didn't respond well near the edges. Excellent sound volume when I turn it all the way up the speakers don't distort or sound tinny. It powers my external HD at USB 3.0. It supports up to 128gb Micro SD card. I've yet to see this thing stutter. Zero Lag with anything I do with it. I use Office, OneNote, PhotoShop here and there, plenty of video streaming and Remote desktop use. I do some Audio Recording using Sony Acid Pro with no problems. Integrates lovely with my Windows phone Lumia 1520. Skype works perfect. I have only the 64gb but my micro SD makes up for that part. I bought the blue keyboard I like it but I feel the back of it may soon get dirty. the kick stand well what can I say but excellent. I use MS Visio on it for work and it's completely Amazing. Nothing but good things all the way around. I thought I was going to regret getting the i3 but nope I love it.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Surface Pro 3 takes on the whole new twist across being considered a tablet and lap top in one. I love how convenient the touch screen is and I find myself using the pen alot as well. Great and fast downloads.

Too complicated for standard users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tablet/laptop with high hopes. Not only do you have to have an internet connection for almost everything you do on it, it is very complicated to use. Maybe once I get used to the pen and keyboard it will be much easier but as of now I really don't like it. If you're used to touch screen decives other than macs then you will probably get used to this quickly. I haven't, not mention I live in the mountains and don't have internet connection. Had I known I would need internet to use this device, I definitely would have opted out for something much simpler. Money not well spent. I give this product 3 stars because it's very convient, light weight and has a nice design; however, it's not easy to use, requires internet for pretty much everything and is way too expensive.

Dual coffe pot performed to my expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sales clerk in my store was very courteous and helpful. This product was not easy to find on the website but he stuck with it until he found exactly what I wanted. He placed the order and it was painless.

Versatile
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Surface does a great job going from being a laptop to a tablet. It's much more portable than my giant laptop so I can take it with easily. While it won't replace my 17" laptop, it is great for on-the-go.

Great for college classes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for the start of the fall semester. I am returning to school and wanted a lightweight tablet/laptop that I could not only take notes on, but also do research and write papers on. The Surface Pro 3 is perfect. I can work when I need to and also play when I am between classes or just need a break. The keyboard takes some getting used to, and this is my first touchscreen computer, so I go back and forth quite a bit between those features. I always leave the keyboard attached as it helps protect the screen, but it detaches easily when I need to take it off. One complaint is that the power adapter is sort of heavy, and the way it plugs into the computer is by a magnetic plug. If you try and move it while it is plugged in the power cord pops out really easily due to the weight of the adapter pulling on the connection.

Don't need a laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With this I don't need a laptop anymore. Its super nice, way better battery life then expected. I wasn't impressed with the 1st and 2nd version of the surfaces keyboards but THIS one works awesome.

This is the Microsoft tablet I've been waiting for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I only go the i3 version with 64GB of memory for school. I already have a ASUS laptop for the heavier computing. This tablet is perfect! Windows 8.1 pro, lots of features and the keyboard is great! very responsive and love that it's back lit. I you want more of a laptop replacement I recommend the starting at the i5 processor models and above. I had the original Surface RT and was frustrated with that OS system. But this is the real deal with full blown windows so no more limitations. I highly recommend this tablet.

Great Computer especially with Office 365
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only problem I have is that the stylus is very important. The resolution of the screen is great which makes the items on the screen small. I lost the stylus after a week and it cost me another $50. Not sure how many of these I will need to purchase through out the life of the computer. Don't get me wrong, you don't need the stylus but it sure makes a difference. I am a Mac person but really enjoy this tablet/computer over my iPad. I would recommend and buy again. Just don't lose the stylus. They need to come down in price or be sold in bulk.

I love the Surface Pro 3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is an awesome Tablet that could easily take the place of any laptop computer. Extremely user friendly and just an over all awesome device. I like it better than My Laptop which cost more.

Good for school
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this product for notes and even large programs that i needed to download and it still does well. I've had 2 problems, but both were easy to solve and fix without taking it to be fixed. Light, fast start, and pen are nice for school. Be aware this Microsoft computer does not have the Microsoft programs such as excell, word, and PowerPoint. Otherwise, I'm very happy.

Great for the most part
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it for university. There is a slight learning curve when transitioning from Windows 7 to 8.1, but the video and sound quality are good. The tablet is not so heavy but, I wish the charger was smaller (too bulky to fit in a sleeve) and the battery drained less. I am considering getting a docking station, as there are very few ports for other attachments. Furthermore, the brightness is a bit too much at times, but overall, since a bunch of my laptop applications/software worked, I am still happy with the product.
