used to have an iPad, but what to use more office software, purchase this one for work and also bought a compared keyboard. Have been using this for almost a month, very fast system, and screen is really impressive.

I love this. I was debating between the surface pro and an iPad... lets just say I was glad I chose the Surface pro, so much better and the fact that I can add a keyboard to it and use it like a lap top is amazing

Purchased as a graduation gift for son in preparation for his college enrollment. He has been making good use of it so far and expresses a lot of comfort with its use and that it is working very well for him

I wanted something small enough to easily carry into libraries and archives for genealogy research. I wanted it to also be useable like a tablet where I could take quality pictures of materials researched. I am used to a Windows format and while I liked the iPad, I did not want to lose my knowledge and control of the IO. I considered a windows tablet but wanted a keyboard and mouse, and the desktop function I am used to. They had a sale on this unit because the chip was being phased out so I took the leap. I am still adjusting to the small laptop size but the heavier tablet. So compromise between a laptop and a tablet... and cost. I am also having to adjust to Win 10 after holding out on Win 7 for so long. Lots of adjustments to make on my part! However am impressed with the Surface so far. Time will tell on durability and if it was worth the extra cost.

Absolutely love the surface. Bought this one for my wife to use as a Lawyer. Easier to carry and light weight, but still with full computing capabilities. A little miffed it didn't come with Pen or Keyboard. Only reason it is a 4-Star review.

Easy to set up. Fast processing and fun to use. I highly recommend purchasing this computer if you want convenience and functionality. Best choice I ever made in terms of a computer purchase.

I love the Surface Pro. I had a Surface 3 and was ready to upgrade. Great for traveling. Has the power of a laptop with the weight of a tablet. Far superior in my opinion to an Apple iPad!

Computer itself was great, easiest application of win 10 I've worked with. However the size, 12", is just to big for me to be comfortable handling like a tablet espicially with a cover on it. 10" for me fits better in my hands.

Really love my new Surface 4! One complaint that I have is that the battery life is almost nonexistent. It hardly lasts a full day. I've tried changing settings to extend my battery life but nothing seems to help.

The m3 processor is a little slow but if your just using for surfing the web or playing casual games then go with this model. Battery life is not the greatest.

I use my surface for web surfing, stock lookup, sports, and Netflix. With the big price discount on the m3, I think it's up to par or even better than an i5. Wished this model came with the pen and keyboard.

I absolutely love my surface pro! It's super easy to use and coming from using a Mac I'm pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to navigate! So glad I bought it!

very happy with my surface purchase. I've always been an apple user however, this surface blew my mind. I can literally do everything on it, unlike apple.

I got the Surface Pro 4 with the stylus and keyboard/cover for school. I haven't used it for note-taking yet, but it seems as though it will suit my needs. Very intuitive and easy to use.

The only thing I do not like is the sync of all the computers with the same pics on one drive. I only keep my pics on one computer. I wish whoever's bright idea that was, forget it.

I purchased this for my son to use for school. He absolutely loves it. It is so light weight and versatile. Can't ask for a better product.

Fits every need. Love the choice of laptop or tablet. Keyboard/cover has good feel. Touch screen allows for sketching and document notations.

I bought the surface pro 4 after UPS lost my laptop that I was sending to ASUS to get repaired. I was in my last semester of university and wanted something a little more portable than my previous laptop. It was the smartest buy I've made. It still has all the functions of my old laptop (minus the graphics card to handle anything other than sims and minecraft). It was really easy to finish my degree with this and I still use it now for minor gaming and tv watching. It's super practical for students or just regular people.

It is pretty 4gb of RAM is pretty limiting. Intel core m3 is surprisingly capable...

I bought this for my wife to replace her old surface 2 which she uses for school. It has great performance and portability.
