Extremely happy with this purchase! It's a slight upgrade from the previous Surface with the USB-C connectivity, but not too much is different. The availability of the Core i7 processor is the real game changer. I bought this for media and light household use, but it's quickly becoming my primary device. I use this Surface daily to do schoolwork, and as a tablet to watch movies and respond to emails, and it handled everything seamlessly. Definitely something I'd wait to pick up at the Black Friday price, and of course don't expect the keyboard or pen to be included. But overall, I couldn't be happier.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a pleasure to work with. The boot up time is great, it’s ultra portable, and has a ton of accessories that you can personalize your experience with. I personally finished out my set up with the Ice Blue surface pen and the grey type cover, and the aesthetics are quite pleasing. This also works wonderfully to run all of the programs I need for my statistics class. There’s no loss in processing speed or power even with multiple applications open with several tabs open on my internet browser, while also listening to music and attending a Zoom class meeting. This was the work horse I needed to finish my degree!

I loved almost everything about it, beautiful design and the specs are great! The only thing is, don't expect to be able to use this as a true "laptop". Explanation: if you're used to using your current laptop on your lap while sitting on a chair or couch, this will not work! The screen is dependent of the kick-stand to remain upright, which is very uncomfortable on your lap or it will slip off any lap-desk you use. You'll need a desk or table with enough space to have the keyboard and kick-stand together (about 20 inches). Also, if you're used to grabbing your laptop by the keyboard to stand up or move it or pass it to someone else for them to see something; forget about being able to do that. You'll end up with the keyboard in your hand and the rest of SP7 on the floor. If you're sure you'll only be using this on a desk/table, then go for it!

I got this because I travel a lot for work and needed something light weight yet powerful enough to multi-task. While physically it doesn't differ much from the previous 3 versions of the Surface, this has the latest Intel processor and 16GB Memory really makes its performance a step up. It does have a USB-C port where the Mini-Display was in previous models which is a plus for expanding capabilities as well as being able to charge it through PD. I did add a 256GB SD Card to expand the memory for file storage, so that is an option if 256GB isn't enough drive space. Since the screen is 12.3" it can make it difficult when you have multiple documents open at the same time due to the size of the screen and resolution, but that is just me splitting hairs. Overall satisfied!

I love this device. I was skeptical but had a few people tell me I wouldn't be disappointed. There are many improvements with the operating system. I especially love the real time synching with the phone. Take care though because it could cause excessive heat if synching for long periods of time.

high speed, lightweight, and easy to use. My surface pro comes EVERYWHERE with me since the day I bought it. I’m a student who uses it for school and personal use and haven’t had a single issue.

Amazing little beast. Using the external hub (plus in via proprietary port) I'm running two 4k monitors, hardwire ethernet, desktop speakers, wireless keyboard, wired mouse, 4k webcam and microphone with no issues at all. It works flawlessly, and I have it (without keyboard) sitting under my monitors as my communications hub. I can't say enough about it - small, VERY powerful, and great on battery life too. The only thing that puts me off a little is that the Surface itself has only one USB and one audio jack - that's it for ports. If you need to expand it like I did, you'll need the external hub. Highly recommended.

This computer is very user friendly, My husband had one for work which made me want one. I was able to fill out forms with the pen and sign legal doc's and electronically send them without any difficulty. This computer definitely avoids needing to print and saves money on paper and ink. I love it! Best purchase yet.

I am super pleased with my surface pro 7. It is so fast and easy to operate. I purchased the keyboard also because I just would rather have a keyboard to type. I use it for our small business and I also do prn work at home and use it for that too.

I replaced my wife’s large laptop with a surface pro. At first, she wasn’t happy with the the screen size, but when she started carrying it around with her - she quickly ended up liking it more than the previous device. The pros: convenient, light, very functional, battery life The cons: you have to buy the keyboard separate. I understand that it’s a tablet, but it’s also taking the place of a laptop. The cool think about the keyboard is it does have a touch pad. So far, the device has been great!

Good price. Loaded computer without the things you don't want. Nice having the option to turn down the free virus protection before it's loaded. Very light as a tablet and adding the keyboard makes for a great laptop. Love the screen size.

It’s a tablet and a laptop which I can’t be happier more about that. I use it as a laptop when I’m out or at home and as a tablet when I’m relaxed on the couch at home. It’s super fast and touch screen provides great colors. It does the purpose I got it for and I’m satisfied.

I am really enjoying this Surface Pro. I use a 17" laptop most of the time, but I have this one for back up and so it's easy to use and does all that the bigger laptop does. The color is clear and sharp. The Audible books sound good. It's light weight. I'm online up to 14 hours in a day, so sometimes I just change to the Pro for a change and the keyboard that pairs with it is good also. I bought his as I've had a Surface Go for a couple of years and it works very well also. I am enjoying this.

MS Surface is the most comprehensive tablet there is. I can do just about everything and more. I would recommend getting the top of the line tablet because it will double as a laptop. I can do work, school work, home work, watch videos, play games, everything and anything. Cannot recommend this enough. *** Full disclosure, I was upgrading from my Surface pro 4 and had all the accessories that came with it. Accessories are sold separately.

Love this computer, so happy with it. I bought the optional detachable keyboard and Surface Pen, I recommend you add these too. Surface Pro 7 totally transformed my working from home experience. I paired it with the Surface Dock 2 which instantly links to my monitors, and bluetooth mouse/keyboard and I can disconnect and use it as a tablet to read and edit pdfs and other documents. Great battery life, haven't lost power during the workday yet. Display is terrific. Computer is powerful and quick.

Upgraded to this model after having owned the Pro 4 for a number of years. With Zoom classes and multiple media programs running, the Pro 4 just wasn't able to keep up and was often freezing momentarily or having to be rebooted. I had also almost filled the 128GB of memory the Pro 4 had. Thus far I'm very happy with this upgrade, the processor is definitely beefier and the 256GB memory should be more than sufficient for years to come, especially since I plan on using an external drive for my home media solutions. I do think the type cover should come with, and I had to wait quite a while to get one with fingerprint reader from Microsoft. The major frustration came in moving my data from my Pro 4 to this one. It seems ridiculous that there is no wired or wireless option to simply copy files and preferences from one machine to the other. Cellphones have this functionality available and they typically have much less data and preferences to move. I certainly wasn't going to pay Geek Squad or another service to move the data for me, so I just backed up to an external drive and copied the data over. But that does nothing about my preferences. About the only thing I didn't have to setup was my wallpaper, which indicates Microsoft knows this is a feature people would want but they're uninterested in providing it. Otherwise, this is a great multipurpose tool for students and small business purposes.
