I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It's a huge upgrade from his previous original surface version. He is really impressed. So am I. It's the first surface that I've actually liked. The rest of the tablet with detachable keyboard versions never interested me at all. We are very glad that we purchased it.

I just replaced my surface 4 after almost five years of use. It is ans was the only computer I use, and it does everything I need it to. For reference, I am a freelance musician, and I don't game at all. I like that this computer functions as a tablet when needed (I often use it as an e-reader in rehearsals), and that it is light weight but is still an actual PC.

I have been a big beliver in the Microsoft Surface product line for many years now. It is built solid and is designed for both personal and professional use. In my profession (real estate) it is an essential part of my work life. Easy to carry with me during the day but when I get to the office or home I can plug into my surface dock and work off multiple screens. This version has the increased RAM which I feel is a most in order to get the most longevity out of your purchase. Plus it exceeds the requirements (as of this review) for Adobe Creative Cloud; being able to use all of their offerings on the run in such a compact machine is hard to beat. On the professional side I highly recommend investing in the Surface Pro Dock. They are not cheap but so worth it if you want to work with multiple screens and use different auxiliary items like external hard drives. The front facing camera is a huge step up from previous generations and has become a vital part of most peoples lives today. A new version of the Surface Pro maybe on the horizon but until it is announced with a hard set delivery date... I would not hesitate in investing in the current model.

Fast compact easy to use. But, make sure you get the pen and keyboard!

I used to have a Surface Pro 3 when it debuted and thought it was great but needed a little more power (i5 with 4gb of memory) so I knew I needed to get something higher on this. I am extremely happy with the decision to get the i7/16gb. The screen is crisp and clear, the touch controls are smooth and the system has not had any performance issues with multiple programs running.

This was purchased so that I could complete my home office. I am so pleased with my purchase. It has been a wonderful little laptop. It is small and lightweight. However, it does everything I need and more. It is portable, can be used as tablet and has a great battery life. The sound and picture are fantastic as well. I wish I would have purchased this sooner.

Small, portable, and more than capable of handling any task thrown at it. My only complaint is that I wish the Surface Pro lineup also included the Touch Cover keyboard. Because it is a Microsoft product, it's easy to keep the operating system and firmware/hardware up to date as it's all done through the Windows Update service.

Easy to use, very quick, light and effective for business travel.

I was looking forward to buying this computer, and I was right! It is a very useful tool I will be enjoying in the future.

Shipped Fast, Great Quality, Light, Fast, and Easy

This is the strongest tablet I have ever used. This is a full on regular laptop really. Super fast. Highly impressed. Pricey but its worth it. Use it a lot for art as well and the processing sucking apps do not hinder the performance at all.

I purchased this laptop for grad school. I think it's such a great laptop! I have literally used this laptop every single day since school started. It's so lightweight and easy to use. I can carry it in my backpack. I would definitely recommend this laptop for anyone that is in school. 10/10 recommend lol

Great laptop, speed is great, updates with no issues

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is a great machine. I love the flexibility of the pen, a mouse, tablet mode, etc. This one came with a 256GD hard drive (plenty of room for storage), and 16GB of memory (plenty of strength to run lots of programs). The new USB-C port is a positive addition too. I love it.

I got this on sale and was a little apprehensive because it only has 16GB Memory and a 256GB Solid State Drive but I was worried without cause. It is blazing fast and runs all my programs superfast. I did order the keypad cover and the add-on which lets you plug in external drives and flash drives. I strongly recommend you get the plug in unless you are only using the Surface Pro to surf the internet. I chose it over the Surface Pro X because it doesn't have the X's compatibility issues. The slight trade-off with screen surface was well worth it. I also like that both the power button and rocker volume control are located on the top for easy access. The camera video is also excellent for those Zoom meetings. So far, no issues of any kind.

I had the surface 4 and this is a lot smoother and quicker. Looking forward to years of use!!

The Surface Pro is the next best thing to Slice Bread! Incredibly portable; As FAST or FASTER than an Apple laptop; and incredibly functional if you need to take it with you -- works like an Apple iPad Pro (pen available too!). The Best Buy of the Year for me!!!

Love love love this machine. Touch screen is fantastic. Everything just works like you’d expect. Battery life has been great. No complaints at this point. Just wish it came with a keyboard cover and a dock at its price point.
