While it's a surface and supposed to be a tablet.. I still need a keyboard. This does the job well. may as well be on a regular laptop and it charges the pen as well. Easily removable. only downside is on mine edge of one side of the mouse pad was lifting up a bit. a little pressure resealed it but it may become an issue..

Keyboard works great. I previously had a SP7 and the keyboard attachment part is different than for a SP9. The feel on this keyboard is great. Tactile feel and good response. The pad at the bottom is responsive. Overall l really enjoy the keyboard

I purchased this after purchasing the Pro 8 bundle with black keyboard. Since the bundle came with the incorrect keyboard, I decided to get this because of the convenience of the charging location for the Slim Pen 2. This keyboard is high quality, fits in my case nicely, and is more comfortable than the basic pro X keyboard (although I shouldn't know that, because the bundle should've came with what was advertised)

Excellent quality keyboard that fits my Surface Pro X perfectly. The keyboard keys felt good to press and feels almost as good as a normal laptop keyboard. The materials felt very high quality and doesn't leave any finger print marks. Just note that the surface pen holder is for the flat type, not the normal round ones.

You absolutely must purchase this keyboard if you buy a Microsoft Surface Pro Tablet & want a physical keyboard for faster typing & to use your Surface more like a laptop rather than a tablet! I do like it but it’s a little too pricey & should be included w/ the Surface Pro!

I bought this keyboard for my wife's surface pro. She still using 2 years later without any issues. This is a very good accessory if you like to type with a normal keyboard. The magnetic feature and pen holder are a plus.

This is the second keyboard I've purchased for my Surface Pro X Gen 1. The first one I bought was the charcoal color with the slim pen. after only a few months I thought my slim pen was broken because it wouldn't charge anymore. It was still under warranty so microsoft told me to send it back and they sent me a new one. The new one didn't work either, they weren't sure what they problem was. They didn't think it was my keyboard because my keyboard was still working including the backlighting and the touchpad. Fastforward to 6 months later, the keyboard stopped being responsive at all. I was like, bummer I'm going to have to buy a new laptop because I thought it was the connecter on my pro x, or something there was no damage to my keyboard so I just assumed, but I called in and they said to try a new keyboard instead. I bought this one. It worked great and low and behold the slim pen started to charge again. That being said, I wanted the black one so it would match my pro x, but the black one was 40 dollars more for some reason so I got this one. It is fine, but I'm worried I'll have the same issues as my old one. I slightly regret buying the pro-x but overall it works ok. This keyboard has nice keys and travel and a great touchpad. The problem is the reliability, which ahs been awful. I wish microsoft would stand by its products and replace rather than making me spend $150 to buy a new one. Oh well! I treat my laptop well and gently so i don't have any advice on how to make yours last longer, just hope you have better luck than me.

Holds up Great and is very easy to use! It feels clean and weighs virtually nothing.

I love this keyboard. It works well and smooth. I like the of the suédois cover.
