Hesitant at first due to shape and being used to the original surface pen, but I use it everyday as I annotate PDFs all day for work. I love the weight and how it charges and fits in the case. I broke several tips with the original, this one has a feel similar to the apple pen but it sits in my hand better.

Too expensive. Too fragile. Works well with Surface Duo 2. My kid chewed on it. Nib comes out, just so you know. The fact that it magnetically sticks to the surface duo 2 case makes this a must buy for surface duo 2 owners. For everyone else, I don't see the draw.

It's OK. The fat width of the pen obscures the screen a lot more than a regular round pen. The advertised tilt functionality does not work in any art programs.
The first one I bought was dead on arrival and had to be replaced. I live an hour away from the best buy store so that was a huge pain in the butt, and the replacement pen actually cost MORE. Great service.
Combine all that with the fact this is one of the most expensive pens and requires a special dedicated charger dock that's the same price as the dang pen, and you get one of the worst pens available, economically.

A fantastic addition to the Surface ecosystem, the Slim Pen 2 offers excellent precision and responsiveness for digital note-taking and art. Its sleek design is easy to hold, though the battery life could be improved. A solid accessory for creatives on the go.

The charging and storage port is super convenient on the surface studio laptop. The pencil has incredible accuracy and is lightweight too! Could be slightly less expensive or bundled with a $2000+ laptop.

The condition was great and the product works like advertised. It works well on my Surface Studio and attaches magnetically to the bottom of the computer.

Wish I didn't have to buy the pen and its charger both separately from one another and as an add-on for the computer, but it works well so it does exactly as billed.

I purchased the Microsoft - Surface Slim Pen 2 to use with my Surface Duo. I wanted a pen that would store well with the Duo and the Surface Pen was not working - the magnets were not holding well.
The Surface Slim Pen 2 works much better, but still can work itself loose.
The build quality is good and the rounded blocky design fits well in my hand and is a pleasure to use with my Duo. It still feels like plastic on glass, but it works.
There is no way to charge this pen unless you have the new Surface Pro 8 or the Slim Pen 2 Charger. Be aware of this if you intend to purchase this pen.
I would only recommend this pen if you have a use for it and have a way to charge it.

I think this is the best electronic pen out of them all, it is very comfortable to hold and has a good weight to it. Definitely so much better than a previous generation, I enjoy using it.

This pen is so responsive and easy to use. I really like using it for taking notes on OneNote for school and scribbling on slides for review and studying. I also like to dabble with digital art and I'm so impressed with how versatile and precise it is.

Bought the Surface Pen 2 for my new Duo 2. Works well with the device and with the upgrade can active One Note with a click. The bummer is the charger comes separately and has to touch the charger for one second to activate the pen

Easy to pair to my surface 7 and although all of the haptic feedback features don't work with the surface 7 it still vibrates when battery is low and is much more comfortable in the hand than the older bulk stylus.

The pen makes me not leave smudges on the screen if i were to use my hands so if that irks you then it might be best to get the pen. Also i did notice that there are there are some features unlocked but tbh i cant remember them rn. The only thing i dislike is that i cant map the buttons to anything i want. You can definitly change them but it is preset
