I didn't really like the feel of this pen. It was like writing with a carpenter's flat pencil. Made writing feel really weird. I did like that you can charge it up and the charge lasts for a while.

I wouldn’t recommend this product. Had problems since I bought it. Get the older version. I had that one and the batteries last forever.

I thought since this the higher end Surface Pen, it would be great. The Apple Pencil runs circles around this. This Surface Pen constantly loses connection. It’s uncomfortable for a lefty. I ordered the cheaper pen. Hopefully, I fare better with the lower end Surface Pen. I’m very disappointed with this purchase. Stay far away.

Decent pen, however I do not understand why this pen is more money then the others. They do the same an it's like microsoft is doing to much with pricing.

I wanted to love the Slim Pen because of its features but after using it for a couple of hours, my fingers started hurting - thanks to its weird design.
I don’t know about others, but this is not for me personally. The thin edges press your fingers and hurt them. Also, I can’t ignore the fact that it got so many good reviews - perhaps it depends on your holding and writing style.
Anyway... I returned it and bought the original round shaped Microsoft Pen.

The ROI of the slim pen over the Surface Pen is not there. You'd have to buy a whole bunch of AAAA's over several years to get your money's worth.

this pen has a really weak magnet so it does not clip to the side like the other surface pens do.

it is rectangular and different with what I have used to write. So, it's not convenient at all for me

Not nearly as good as I hoped . I can barely operate it - iPad and Apple pen are far superior products

The pen is over $99 and the eraser tip for some reason is not tracking on my Asus laptop, the irony is the Surface Pen does the track the eraser tip though. I tried to talk to someone and I knew more than the person that I was talking to. Not blaming the person but the buggy software.

Bought to be used for business. Use for signatures only. 2 months and it stopped working. Microsoft products are a huge letdown. If only apple had something comparable. Will be returning the Surface Pro, keyboard and pencil. What a waste.
