Customers are saying

Customers admire the compatibility, affordability, and plug-and-play functionality of the Wired Controller for Xbox One and PC. Many users appreciate that it works seamlessly with both Xbox and PC, making it a versatile choice for gaming across different platforms. The reasonable price point is another highlight, offering great value for money. While the controller is generally well-received, some users have expressed concerns about the proprietary headphone jack and the durability of the D-pad over time.

This is basically an Xbox one controller that comes with a USB cable. I wish I could sync it to my pc and do away with the cable. Had to install the drivers manually because windows couldn't find them automatically

    Better D-pad, worse shoulder buttons

If you have used the Xbox 360 controller before, there's not really anything different here, though I've heard this controller contains some motion sensors now, though most games don't use them. The two noticeable changes are the D-pad, which is now the traditional cross shape and very clicky instead of mushy like on the 360 pad, and the shoulder buttons, which for some reason have to be pressed on their outer edges now, making them harder to use. So if the D-pad doesn't matter much to you, stick with a 360 controller when gaming on PC. Otherwise, you may prefer this controller.

Picked up this item for $50 bucks as a 2nd controller, and it works great. No problems linked up to my Xbox one with ease. The only thing I didn't like was that it doesn't have the headphone jack on the bottom. But other than that it's a best buy for your buck.

Xboxone controller--A good buy but nothing out of the ordinary in terms of recommending buying for special features; there aren't any. Just a good quality item bought at a sale price!

Controls well and is nice to hold. Harder to damage than the 360 controller. It is Plug and Play on Win 10. Perfect to get ready for Xbox on PC cross play.

This controller is top notch gaming experience if you want the console feel. Was not looking to buy controller, but some games it is less of a hassle to use a controller.

I purchased this controller so I could stream my xbox games to my laptop and it has worked great. Windows instantly saw the controller and it was quickly ready to use.

Overall this has been a good, responsive controller that had done everything I have wanted. The battery life is still a bit less than I would have hoped but it's okay.

Definitely better than the 360 controller. I haven't seen the impulse triggers work yet but they most probably will work with games like GTA V. A must buy controller!

Got a controller after my last one was bricked by my Xbox. Best Buy sells a good standard controller. All buttons work and no problems with it. Need it? Get it.

Not too much to say about this already award winning controller. The one thing that could make it better is if Microsoft released the wireless adapter for it!

Loved my XBox 360 controller and when I updated to a X1 I was pleasantly suprised by the controller. Much more rugged and ergonomic than the X360 version.

I had my other Microsoft Controller for over 10 years. Microsoft sells great products, and I hope to have my new controller for at least 10 years.

This is exactly what I was looking for. So I was looking to get a second controller to play games with my husband, I tried a corded controller, but they each seem to be less durable than the one that came with the Xbox One. I decided to just get the same one that came with the console, and despite having to replace the batteries, it just feels like a better controller.

The Product Title Says Wired But It Isn't

I was in the market for a replacement controller for my controller that came with the system. The right thumbstick was no longer working in the way it needed to be, so I started looking around for viable options and saw this product on sale for about $49.99. Went to the store and asked an associate and it's a wireless controller that is compatible with the Xbox One console and can be used on a PC since it comes with a USB cable. The cable as described is a 9' cable and it can be used on the console as well so that you can do updates with it, which was a pleasant surprise. Got home and sync the controller with no issues at all and as stated before went ahead and did the updates again with no issues at all. Tested it out to make sure the controller would stay sync by turning it off and on, powering up the console with it and then powering it down. Didn't have any problems at all. The controller is like any Xbox One controller, which is great. The only downside for this particular purchase, if you're in the market for a new controller that has the 3.5mm headset jack, this controller unfortunately doesn't have one. It has the standard port for the basic headset, so you would have to buy the adapter if you don't already own one. Also, for some, it doesn't come with rechargeable batteries, which isn't for me since I own some Duracell rechargeable batteries that work well with the controller.

I do not have a XBox 360 or a XBox One, but I do play games on my PC. I used to think that the 360 was the best controller for the PC, but the XBox One controller is so much more comfortable. The controller has the same analog, D-Pad, and button configuration and it's predecessor the difference is this new controller fits perfectly into my hands.

This says it for Windows, but it's the exact same controller as the Xbox controllers, just cheaper. Not sure why but it works awesome on both.
