This kit works great. It charges pretty quickly and has a really long cord.

Switched from PS4 to Xbox. The controller just feels better, but that's just my opinion. I like the 'offsetting' analog sticks and the more compact size fits better in my hands. Definitely go with the charging kit; controller lasts a lot longer than I thought it would. I think it's been a few weeks (maybe 5 hours a week of game play) and I still haven't had to recharge it.

Works great. Has a 10 foot USB cable, so you can play while it's charging. Controller even charges when Xbox is turned off so it's ready to go when your ready to play. I usually get around twenty hours of play between charging. Love this product. The battery pack fits right in the controller and the original battery door fits right over it, so it's not big and bulky.

Good controller it is easy to handle and it saves on batteries

So this is not any different than the standard wireless XBOX One controller; it just comes with the rechargeable battery back and a special USB cable for charging via the XBOX (it's got a fancy little light on it to tell you when the charging is done.) It all works well, the only flaw I find is that when I plug headphones into the controller while the USB cable is charging the battery it creates an annoying little feedback hum in the headphones. This noise goes away as soon as the USB cable is removed from the controller.

The charging pack is the best way to charge your controller hands down. It holds a good charge and is easy to recharge when dead.

watching my boys use this controller, it seems to be intuitive and easy to use, even for the youngest one who has small hands. this controller actually syncs to the console better than the one that came with the console ... not sure why. I also appreciate the ability to recharge the control via the console connection.

If you play games on PC and Xbox, GET THIS ONE. It allows you to plug into your PC via USB and use your controller for all your PC games too! The battery will recharge from console or PC, which is excellent. There's even a light in the USB cable that changes from orange to white when it's fully charged.

This controller is perfect! My son loves it. Wireless controllers are the best with NO cords to mess with. The option to charge while playing is priceless. it's such great benefit to be able to charge when playing a game, so you don't have to be interrupted during "what could be" your most critical move!!

I bought this as a second controller for my XBOX One System. Until the new "Elite" controller comes out this fall, this is the best out there in my opinion. I've had issues with third-party controllers in the past, so this was an easy decision to buy a Microsoft one. I highly recommend it!

I think for most people the battery pack will save you enough money on batteries that it's worth it. It comes with a long micro usb although mine stopped working after 9 months. The good thing about the additional wire is that it allows you to use another controller without batteries.

This product allows you to charge your controller, thus eliminating the use of batteries. Also it is produced by Microsoft itself. Overall this is a great standard remote that will accommodate your Xbox One gaming needs.
