I was skeptical about this after getting a similar, but after market, product for a Wii. This one held charge a long time. If I could make one suggestions to Microsoft it would be to sell a 2nd remote with two rechargeable batteries and a charging stand.

This controller is the best XBox One option on the market. No need for batteries, as it re-charges and holds for quite a long time. I rarely use the controller that can in the bundle. While it is more expensive, it is definitely worth the extra money. Try to find a deal where they release Madden and you receive $20 off a controller purchase, or even when you buy a new console.

I use this solely as a controller for my gaming PC in my living room, as an upgrade for the older Xbox 360 controller that I have. There is nothing overly new about the controller for the most part, all the buttons are in the same places, but they seem to have made slight tweaks to make the controller more comfortable to use. The trigger and bumper buttons have been shaped to be easier to use; they feel like they are easier to switch between if you are like me and use your index fingers to switch between them. Joysticks have a raised ring around the edge that I like; it feels like you have slightly better control with them. As far as I know, the USB connection is necessary for playing on PC, and the provided cable is long enough for my space. It's micro USB, so if it's short for you, at the very least you can get a USB extender cable relatively easily. Additionally, all PC games that recognized 360 controllers will recognize this controller with no additional issues. I liked the controller, but I wouldn't consider this a must by if you have a 360 controller and currently enjoy everything about it. If however, you are like me and need a few more controllers for couch co-op for your HTPC, or your 360 controller was spiked into the ground after a bad Rocket League match and no longer works, then definitely consider this controller.

It's awesome to have a rechargeable controller and not too burn through batteries, $15 extra dollars is a questionable price but, in the long run for extensive gamers it should pan out. The other thing the keeps it from five stars is while it's plugged, it creates a buzzing sound in the mic. Though the charge usually last long enough to not need to plug while playing though.

If one controller is good, then two is better! My only gripe is the price, but it does come with a long lasting lithium ion rechargeable battery. Why does this not come stock with the XBox One is beyond me. Glad I got it on sale!

I bought my son an XBox One for Christmas plus this remote and he flipped out. He loves it. It was exactly as specified in the product description and arrived in 2 days. I love not having to buy batteries! Thank you Best Buy!

We bought an extra controller so we could play together with our son....it's just exactly like the one that came in the box....The only thing is it would be nice to have 2 in the package deal when they sell them....

Got this for my son as he broke his other controller. He says it works better than his old one and he loves being able to play and charge at the same time.

The standard Xbox One only comes with a controller that you have purchase more batteries for. This allows you to be able to have a rechargeable battery pack that you can plug in your console to charge.

My son uses this wireless controller daily. Has not had any complaints. Also very durable he has dropped a few times while in a heated competition with friends. Controller is holding up well.

Unfortunately, console only comes with one controller. I purchased OEM controller looking for quality. The most important benefit - peace in house as no arguing over the single controller :-)

My son is pleased with his new controller and the fact that you can charge it and reuse it again n again is awesome. Say good buy to spending a bundle of money on batteries!

This wireless, rechargeable controller is an improvement over the XBox 360. For the old version, you had to remove the battery pack and recharge it on a separate station. Now you leave the pack in all the time and recharge with a USB cord which really limits gameplay interruptions. The controller is comfortable in the hand and the familiar XBox layout is still intact. I haven't experienced a single problem with it so far.

Great product from Microsoft, really exactly what you would think you would get. Battery last a while when fully charged. The only thing that I would change is Xbox's OS to help some more about battery levels. I use this so much I bought a second one as backup. Never run through battery again!

Bought an XBOX One and it only had one controller. Picked this one up in case friends came over or I was lucky enough to get the wife to play. ....Or in case I got upset at the game and hurled the original one at the wall. Admit it we've all felt like doing that at one time or another.

I love this and it last forever just needs to recharge here and there. Not saves money in battery and u can play 2 player by one wired and one on the battery pack!
