So the Xbox One chatpad, it’s pretty much an updated 360 chatpad and works perfect for quickly typing out messages or searching things on the Xbox, another bonus is being able to control volume/mute of any headset that is plugged into the 3.5mm port in the bottom and it has two extra buttons that are assigned to screenshots and recording but can be changed to whatever you want. Overall does what advertised. Now the bad, this is my third chatpad. First one for my original white One S controller but would not go onto my black controller that came with my X so I had to get it exchanged twice before I got one that fit, I’m assuming a revision or issue with the mold. You do have to finagle a little bit to get it on but once it is secured you are good to go!

Would definitely recommend!! A lot easier to enter Xbox codes and gift cards!!

After I was finally able to complete the update for the controller it worked as advertised. Be warned the keyboard is small and can be hard to navigate at times. It deffinately a time saver and also helps with head phone volume to make it louder than normal.

This product is perfect for gamers. I love it and use it on a daily basis.

I primary purchased this product based on the chatpad I had for the Xbox 360. It makes it extremely easy to type out messages, Xbox codes, etc. I personally like the weight it gives and changes to the way you hold the controller. Recommended!

I like this better than choosing one character at a time with a joystick.

This keyboard fits snugly and perfectly into the controller mid section, allowing you the ability to quickly send messages, search and type in codes while browsing for games and makes finding content about 10 fold more convenient. You can also start recording gameplay with the simple push of a button. This is a must own item just for simplicity it brings to your console.

The keyboard is very useful if you play games that require entering codes and passwords. It also helps out with finding shows and movies on the different Xbox apps. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the button layout could have been done better.
