Descent remote, but could have been better. The backlighting only lasts for a few seconds when activated by movement. When the backlighting is not on it is very difficult to see the buttons, so I end up waving my wrist to keep it lighted when in use, especially in a dark room. There is no customization, no micro usb for updating, etc, but that's what you get for the price.

Great for the wife because she hates the controller

So much better than using controller to watch movies! The backlight is a nice touch for when you're watching in the dark. My one and only minor complaint is that it doesn't have the letter buttons on it, as some apps require that you press "B" to go back for example. Other than that this remote is very nice.

A must purchase item. The remote is easier for the whole family to use.

I got this for my mother to be able to use the Xbox in the living room for streaming media. It functions well even though the buttons could have been made a little better most of the time you can barely tell you have pushed them. Were talking a low price remote here though so I mean you cant expect some crazy high quality.

I was on the fence to go with this one or the other one that is much bigger than this one. However, I am glad I went with this one because of it's ergonomic design and size. I just wish it had backlit keys.

Works great. Feels great. I only wish it had the A,B,X,Y buttons.

I got tired of having to power up one of my Xbox remotes every time I wanted to watch Netflix on the Xbox. Not to mention they power off after being idle for a period of time. So scrambling to pause the movie when a call comes in becomes a bit of a hassle. No longer with this Xbox remote. It is simple, light weight, and feels well made. The buttons even light up when you move it! Pretty nifty. My only gripe is that I do have to open the entertainment cabinet in order to get the remote to function, but I have to do that anyway so I don't suffocate the Xbox in there. If you're looking for a good general remote for your Xbox, this is it.

This is a convenient compact remote for the xbox one. When you move it the back light come on. What you cannot tell by looking at the picture is the great texture of the remote is. A very nice remote.

So this guy is motion activated and has an accelerometer to turn it on or off. This might sound like something gimmicky, but it's almost apple-level quality in how intuitive it is. You mever need to turn the thing on, like a classic remote, but it does all the new stuff an ex is controller is doing flawlessly.

This remote is important to have. You can easily turn your xbox on and off, while loading netflix or other apps. I think the best part is that you NEVER have to turn the remote "off" it automatically turns on and lights up all the buttons when you move it, and turns off and the lights go off when its still.

Xbox one remote is much better than using the Xbox one controller when watching video content Because you're not constantly change out batteries and also it's smaller and your hand

I am very satisfied with this remote. It works flawlessly and the texture of the remote is nice. An added benefit, it lights up when its moved so you can see all of the buttons.
