My first concern with this product was the length of the cable which turned out to be bigger than i needed it to be (which is a great thing by the way), fully charged i pretty much only have to charge the remote every day and a half (thats 1 1/2 days after it finished charging and i started using it) and thats only cause the console tells me its running low.

Great Controller and having a rechargeable battery is the best

I can't believe how long the rechargeable battery lasts compared to the ones for the Xbox 360. I've probably played 20-25 hours on it so far and haven't recharged it yet (not sure how full it is at the moment and I don't really feel like starting it up to find out). I finished all of Gears of War Ultimate using only about 20% of the battery.

I'm not a heavy gamer, but I didn't want to constantly be buying, disposing of batteries or having to deal with the hassle of AA rechargeable batteries. This battery back charges extremely quickly and lasts a really long time. It's unfortunate that Microsoft doesn't include this with their controllers, but it is a great product nonetheless.

I got this so I can use it on my PC to game on there. I can play most games with a keyboard but I'm so much more comfortable with a controller. I usually play on playstation controllers so it has taken a bit to get use to the xbox layout. Overall so far it has been great. The easy set up on pc is great as well, just plug and play.

I love that it is wireless and it keeps a good charge

If you want a second controller, this purchase kills two birds with one stone. Play and charge kit is nice to have too.

Always needed another controller and this one is of course exactly like what you get with the system when you purchase. With the added benefit of the charge pack. Now I can play while it charges if I forget to charge the batteries and I don't have to replace them when we used standard batteries.

When I purchased the Xbox One console, it came with one controller. I knew we needed another controller. We found this rechargeable controller and purchased it because we would be saving on batteries in the long run. We have had no problems with this controller when it is necessary to charge it.

I hate having to swap batteries mid-game, and it gets expensive after a while. I save more money in the long run with the rechargeable battery. I've tried other versions, but the Microsoft version performs better than others hands down. Great value, OEM performance- overall an excellent deal.

Good deal you get both the remote and rechargeable pack for a little more then the regular price I recommend getting geek squad to just because it's better to be safe then sorry I've had multiple incidents where something stop working and is good to know they'll fix it or you can trade it in

You definitely want to do this if you buy anything for your new x box one. It has the super charger and when you add an extra battery, you will be all set. The charge is fairly quick and the last time after a month is excellent. Hopefully this will continue but so far THUMBS UP all the way

I am not a fan of batteries and the fact that Microsoft still doesn't have internal batteries for the Xbox controllers still baffles me. However, I can say, if you are looking for an extra controller and don't want to worry about buying batteries all the time. Buy the plug and charge kit.

The regular xbox will only come with one controller so if you want to play with a friend or have a back up controller around, this is your best option. This controller comes with a battery pack and it can hold a fairly decent amount of charge, couple hours, before you need to plug in.

Love the wireless and batteryless controller. Easy to charge using a USB anywhere.

Have used it several times and have found it easy to use and quite sturdy.

The fact xbox one controllers still use regular batteries is somewhat sad, but with the include play and charge kit, you save money in the long run by not needing to purchase said batteries. Definitely recommend over just the controller.

The remote/rechargeable battery is the only way to go. You will go through more batteries than the cost of the charger pack in a couple of weeks. The rechargeable battery has long life, and holds a charge great. We have several.

The charger works great! This is my second one and now with the updated controller! I'm not a fan of batteries so this is a must! The battery life is great. Highly recommend if you don't like buying batteries all the time.

This is a money saver. The standard controller sells for $60 and the charge/play kit sells for $25.... Here you get both for $75. Not only do you save $15, but you continually save money by never having to buy batteries.
