I had to download the offline update onto a usb with my laptop in order to use the system. I haven't had any issues since then I love the graphics and how much smaller the console is compared to day one box I had.

4K gaming is beautiful

I’ve been playing Forza Horizon 4 on it mostly and it’s just incredible. I am playing on an LG OLED TV and it’s stunning. Also played some 2K20 and Wreckfest and everything is just so incredibly smooth and crisp. I’ve seen no performance issues, and the load times are much shorter, especially when playing Forza. You can fast travel almost instantly. When playing on my original xbox one, fast travel would average probably around 15 seconds to load. It’s also got a smaller, more sleek design, so it looks better on the shelf. If you’ve been considering getting on the 4K platform, and you can catch a One X on sale, go for it. You won’t be disappointed or let down. I didn’t know a video game could look so good!

I also play Forza 7 on the One X and the play is very very smooth. We’ve played basketball a few times. It’s easy to play even if you are new to the game, but can be very detailed as you get better. Fun!

Moved on to PSP4. Current friends all playing Xbox ONe X which necessitated the upgrade. He is happy so I am happy. All good.

I purchased this during Black Friday, got it on sale and it included 3 months of Xbox Gold. I like that this Xbox includes a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player, has 4K support for games and 4K video playback for Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc. I have found myself using the Xbox to watch Netflix rather than switching over to my Fire TV Stick. There's also an option to plug in your satellite or cable receiver into the back of the Xbox, which is super convenient. I am not a huge fan of the NBA2K20 game, because the controls are pretty complex.
