My husband has been rooted to my bed and chair while playing this game. I would say that means that he loves it. Wonder when I will get him off of it to help with some cleaning LOL. But anyhow great game, awesome graphics and its keeping the kids busy just watching him play so gives me time to get things done.

I purchased this on an impule for my 15 year old daughter. This is the type/genre game that she plays and she was excited when I gave it to her. The price is deffinately right for an xbox game

The controls are easy to master. The map is big but not so overwhelming it takes 30 hours to figure out. It incorporates Middle Earth elements well. If someone is looking for the classical LOTR characters, they'll have to suffice with Gollum.

This game is excellent, but the GOTY edition really flushes it out more. It can be short if you just do the main missions, but I put 15-20 hrs. in before getting halfway through the main story.

I bought this game for my hubby for Christmas. He claims that the controls are not the easiest to get used to.

I love this game, mostly because you can sit down and kill orcs all night long, I would not recommend playing this in front of children, it is a fun game great missions and a lot of sword killing

Great open world environment set in the realm of LotR/Tolkien. Expansive world with evolving enemies and unique game play gives awesome replay value.

This game is awesome. Really great. I spent hours building up my brawlers to take on the enemies in riots. It's a little repetitive sometimes, but you can just run off and do something else, like... Kill more uruks. The load times were pretty annoying, but didn't detract too much.

This has been a fun game for my teenage sons. They have seen the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies and they enjoy the how the story ties in with the movies.

Bought this game for myself and if you are an assassins creed fan you will like this game. Set in middle earth ( think lord of the ring or the hobbit) graphics are great and the game play is as smooth as any other..I like the skill tree as well it works out well and lends balance to the game and your play style..

A lot of fun, kind of repetitive at points but overall great game

Overall, this is a great game. I would have preferred a little more direction and set objectives but this is great for a freestyle type of play.

This game was a lot of fun, no major complaints. Very good rpg that will haunt you until you beat it.

New to open world game system. More of a FPS player. My learning curve was a little steep on navigating the world (setting waypoints, goals, surviving, upgrade tree), but that may have just been me. I'm sure the Xbox1 version has better graphics, but the flow and play of the game is enjoyable.

If you are planning to buy this you better go for the game of the year edition for a few extra bucks It's worth it!
